You can either plead guilty or go to trial. That’s it.

If you were charged with a criminal case, you can either enter a guilty plea after your lawyer has  negotiated the best possible deal for you or, if you are not guilty, can you go to trial and fight the charges. Those are your only two choices.

Here in the UK we have slightly different system, we have councils who don't believe in justice, there just interested in getting money out of you, justice and innocence is secondary

wrong, you don't go to trial and you don't plead guilty! dismissal is the only way!!! there will be no trial and you demand it don't ask nicely!

@@CoverageAwarenessStudio while I have obtained many dismissals in my career, it is definitely not the majority of cases. What is your experience with obtaining dismissals for clients?
