Is a Herkimer diamond really a type of diamond? Wondering cuz' I have a couple.

@@SnarkasticSunny not an actual diamond. It has the same hardness and composition of quartz. Herkimer diamond is a quartz crystal with a termination at each end. So instead of one point, the crystal has 2 points. If it doesn't have 2 points, it's just considered a quartz crystal. Keep rocking friend!🤘😁
