These live action remakes get a lot of hate but honestly I don't care. My standards are actually really low and as long as this movie doesn't bore me I should be good. I even found enjoyment in the Disney's live action Pinocchio despite all the hate it got.

i think they'd have to go a long way to beat the 2003 peter pan...especially with Jason Isaacs version of captain hook. you know i knew i had seen that girl somewhere and it was driving me crazy...until i looked her up and was like wow! ok thats who she is...i've never seen her...she just looks exactly like milla. i think this one could be really freakin cool!

Furthermore, the media's obsession with racial representation can actually detract from other important factors such as talent, merit, and creative vision, which should always be the primary criteria for casting and storytelling. A focus on diversity should not come at the expense of artistic integrity. In summary, while promoting diversity and inclusivity is important when done properly, we must avoid resorting to exclusion and erasure in the name of representation. Instead, we should strive to create authentic and nuanced representations that reflect the complexity of the human experience, and always prioritize talent and creativity in casting and storytelling.

All I wanted to ask the execs at Disney is, why must they do all the classics in their list? If they wanted a diverse cast, fine but why not make ORIGINAL movies that don't have fans that already had an idea of a specific character? I’m super excited to see David Lowery’s take on the movie! The Green Knight is beautiful, so this will be interesting. And he’s a huge fan of the story of Peter Pan, which gives him points with me, because I adore that book. I’ll watch almost any Peter Pan adaptation, but I refused to watch Pan. Also, anti woke people in the comments clearly ain’t passing the vibe check.

Tiger Lily is the character I’m most excited for in this movie as I think Alyssa Wapanatâhk is gonna be a real breakout star in this movie for the Indigenous crowd like how Amber Midthunder in Prey and Alaqua Cox in Hawkeye and soon her own Disney+ series Echo. So, I’d like to see a movie where Alyssa, Alaqua, and Amber form an Indigenous A-Team movie

@@rooksed TOO MANY people on the internet pretend to have aboriginal heritage because they think they can get a pass to say racist things. No ACTUAL native would say something like that. North American Genocide...diseased government issued blankets, reserves with substandard housing and bad water, residential schools where little kids were torn from their families and murdered. And ones that weren't murdered, were beaten for speaking their own language, or sexually assaulted. In my city, native men and women have been left outside city limits in minus 40 weather by police. They died. Thousands of Missing or murdered aboriginal women. A REAL native would not wonder why we would be unhappy about being kept out of entertainment industry careers or be confused as to why we are happy when one of us DOES make it.

First is because theres only about 2.6% who identify as native american which obviously means there is going to be a very small pool of available AI actors to choose from. 2nd of all no one really gives a shit about native american culture, like I said im part native and I could give 2 shits about it. People give a shit about american/hollywood "culture" which is why some native americans like jason momoa are so successful. They dont seek out roles in movies no one cares enough to really see. Anyways, perhaps it is because you'll are women that you'll care so much about race representation in hollywood. A trend I have noticed is that men care more about identifying with deeper qualities of a character/actor (like ambition, masculinity, morality, confidence etc.) While females care more about appearences/ancestory. The takeover of the feminist/liberal agenda in hollywood explains why there is so much race switching in the entertainment industry nowadats

I am always up for more Peter and Wendy and the gang. HOOK will always hold a warm, happy place in my heart! QUITE enjoyed the 2003 one as well. Although that one did not make money. But I did my part! Missed the Broadcast version with Christopher Walken! I'll have to look it up someday! I DID give the Rooney Mara version a purposeful pass. Speaking of, here's a helpful safety tip from an actual Native American: Never high five a Bigfoot/Sasquatch. Always politely decline.
