Since we are talking college, I have to share my favorite college trick. After enrolling, go to Strangerville and get infected. Then every night around 2ish, you have the "mother" fits, but they completely recharge ALL your needs. Makes college sooo much easier. Bathing? Socializing? Sleeping? Nope, not needed and you are ready to start the new day bright eyed and bushy tailed!

I like the Gemology version of this, make some jewelry that helps you find random crystals, get a plumbite, make it a random shape/jewelry, and charge, all needs handled. Helps for/with babies too.

Discover University is definitely one of the best sims 4 packs. It has so many details, genuinely challenging gameplay, and you can take the skills your sims learn at school and apply them all over your game! I also love how they brought back Secret Societies and the Servo bots. Discover University isn't quite as quirky and wacky as Sims 2 University but they made an effort to include that Sims charm which I appreciate!

It sounds like a genuinely good plot for a coming-of-age fantasy movie. You know how this stories always have a point near the climax where the mc falls from grace and must get back up, so messing up his interpersonal relationships while high on magic fits perfectly with that narrative.

6:48 I've done Bess' money thing but it takes so long in game! At the end of it she does give you A LOT of money- usually over 20k. It just takes several sim weeks which is super frustrating.

Bess's quest is so tedious and I think the amount of times you have to donate varies, but it can get you a huge payday at the end! I'd just reccommend keeping track of how much you spend.

PRO TIP!!! You can use a pressure cooker to make meals! It and other small appliances are allowed in the sims’ dorms! It will make multiple servings of the food you make with it.

I remember the secret society from sims 2, that could only join after befriending 3 members and then they'd come kidnap you in the middle of the night. There was a society lot too that had a heap of reward items like a money printer and things.

I think when they brought that plants are seasonable now the forgot there are parts of the words where you need to tend plants for an aspiration or quest and all of them were put in the same season.

If you buy books using a computer they appear in your backpack, if you click in the bookshelf they will appear in the bookshelf. I was annoyed with the opposite. I wanted them to appear in the bookshelf instead of my backpack😂.

Bess doesn't give you anything if you keep giving her money, she'll keep calling you until you get a response option to accuse her of not paying you back. In which she says she forgot about that and gives you like just half or less of what you gave her.

I do miss when rare items were harder to get, like there was more of a challenge to obtain certain things much like that Death Flower and, made it much more satisfying once you got it. I wish there were cheats for spawning rare items for people who would rather not grind or something.

The first time I played with the secret society, I didn't have Seasons yet and still couldn't tend the garden. I eventually managed it but only after finding a tip online to add one of the plants as head, then put it down and tend *that one*
