a note for everybody watching this! she mentions she has been tanned during her teenage so that means this vid only means u can get rid of the tan by following the measure mentioned above but u can not chnage ur skin color. if u r black/brown u cannot expect to look white by following these methods, u can only get rid of the tan. all colors r beautiful, all skin tones r perfect. y'all r baddies !!

This is true, you can maybe turn back time to the melanin color of when you were a new born. I use to be really pale...decades later there isn't anything pale on my skin except for the palms of my hand and soles of my feet. And all that tanning has left me with wrinkles and permanent hyper pigmentation. Wear your sunscreen, skin nerds 😄

@@Mehhhhhhhhhhs my mother used to have naturally pale skin as a kid but she regularly sun/solarium tanned her skin for over 30 years and her skin now has the same skin tone as the childhood picture from this video. she basically did the opposite. she did damage her skin tho with all the tanning but you definitely CAN "tan that hard."

You’re an extremely beautiful woman, the tips are also good and scientifically sound. Thank you for including the preface about avoiding prejudice, we should all strive to look however we want but also not hate those with different skin.

Exactly. Others want to tan, she want to whiten. As long as you don’t shame others for their skin tone then you do you, but of course it would be better if we could accept the skin color we were blessed with :)

For anyone young watching, I’m very tan and dark skinned naturally. Obviously I struggled growing up being called ugly for something I can’t change but I learned to eventually love what I have been blessed with. Please don’t use dangerous products on your skin or believe in those skin bleaching methods you see online. Even tho I’m tan I can easily look white skinned with the right filters and lighting. This vid is prob for those who are light skinned naturally but got tan from being outside a lot. Either way if you are dark please believe me when I say your skin has been blessed by the sun☀️💕
@mobstercrow75153 ай бұрын
If your skin is tanned from the sun, that is dangerous. Skin cancer is already bad enough, when you are tanned that means the sun has literally COOKED your skin, thus increasing the risk of skin cancer by a lot. Stay out of the sun and wear suncream. Fake tans and baking your skin is not sexy. Protect yourself from skin cancer.
just in case there are any young and impressionable minds watching this video, let's all not forget some sun is also necessary for vitamin D to protect us against disease, optimizes physical performance, and improves mental health; also, when your body produce melanin, it's a natural reaction to protect itself from aging; trying to reduce melanin production could actually make us age faster in short, it's all about balance, there's no need to be too extreme;

@flipthots Hmm I think if we come from a health pov, too much sun is also not healthy, since it can cause skin cancer and all; so I think to some extent, you need to take some measures to protect yourself from too much sun;

actually most East Asians like myself were born with light-skinned already. It's just that our skin gets tanned really easily (like I've gotten one shade darker by not wearing sunscreen and going to Australian's beach for just one day). This video is just giving advices on how to reverse/maintain our light-skin we were born with, instead of letting it be damaged by the sun and getting tanned.

What's ironic is that society makes insulting comments like "sickly" "dead" "unhealthy" to people who are naturally-born pale like Europeans or albinos, but make positive comments to Asian people who got pale skin from whitening creams/avoiding sun like a plague.

I found this out after doing deep research, I've heard Asians describing naturally pale skin as "sick" or "death" which is so unfair! 😭😭😭😭
@@Asrrrdcgyeekifvhd no like i heard it after lurking in forums or comments online, there is a case of an albino in korea and albino in india getting bullied for being too pale. and according to my research asians want the white skin with the warm/wheat undertone not the pinkish one. (ironically the pinkish pale skin is the whitest a human can ever get) and they make comments saying that it looks "feminine/girly (on guys)" or "sick" "looking like leprosy or anemic" i also hope you are confident in your own skin. 😥😢😢
