Are you involved in the programming? I think similar blocks should be combined into a single block. So that there is just one block to set a motor to speed X, and not one for every hub. The particular hub is already picked when connecting to the hub, so the corresponding code could be chosen based on the hub selection.

Have bluetooth turned on Macbook air, installed Scratchlink from app store and running, turned on Lego Luigi bluetooth, pressed start searching button and it just immediately goes to the steps to connect and will not connect?

Scratch does not work with Safari, You need to use another browser like Chrome or Edge. I was able to pair Luigi using a Macbook and Edge.
