Ringing church bells is amazing. My grandfather used to ring church bells and I would go with him as a kid. When stopping the bell he would be pulled up in the tower of the church. It was awesome.

When I saw the number 9801, I recognized it as a perfect square. 99 x 99 = 9801 What? There's no lesson at the end to teach us how to say the word, "Bell" in Czech or something like it? (Granted, I still wish the lesson was at the start, and that the word would get used a few times during the video, so we would actually learn it from the reinforced usage. I never remember the words because they are at the end and not used.)

Of course, reinforcing the language lesson throughout the video could require him to pick out the word before filming the overall video, whereas he can pick a word much later the way it's done now. But I do think it would work better to present it earlier, use the word in the video a few times, followed by the English word for it, and many of us would pick up a few words in a few weeks.

The only issue here is that the basic noun is ZVON, but, because of Czech grammar, Janek would be using tons of different forms of the word, which would only confuse everyone.

I've been ringing bells for 15 years, it's an amazing feeling. Our 2 bells are much smaller, 1000kg and 1600kg, but that's still really big, they survived the war - the smaller is from 1550, the bigger 1603 I think. Then there's the bell Zikmund in the St. Vitus cathedral, which weighs over 16 tons and it has the most wonderful sound.

I'm ringing bells in 12th century church - bells are also from 16th century - 800kg and 200kg (I still consider 800kg as "big bell").

Hey. Love your videos. Could i ask a question you might be able to do a video about. On pedestrian walkings over the street the light turn really fast. Can you still cross if it's red after you started to walk? And on were you have the white lines to walk but no light who has the right of way? Cars or people ?
@Kalkincz

Hello, When you step in street when there is Green, you can still finish even if there is red. Lights deciding when you can enter crosswalk, so you dont need to run ;). Pedestrian have right of way but he must not endanger car ( car need to have enough time to safly stop) BUT be aware of Trams. Trams have right over peaople.

Hello, I leave this comment as an idea for a video. This Sunday my plane leaves for Prague and what is most difficult for me is choosing what type of clothes to wear, since I do not know exactly the climate of the country and I am personally used to the heat of Spain. So if you could talk about the different climates, surely many people would appreciate it. Otherwise, the video is excellent as always and your channel helped me in preparing for this trip so thank you very much and keep it up.

Hi, it's warm here. 20 to 35 degrees Celsius. Since it's summer. But, it can happen that it will be cloudy and rainy during the day. It can happen that storms come and Prague is screwed. Rivers overflow their banks and you have to drive boats. So I recommend taking shorts, a raincoat and a life ring.
