Be sure to rinse all the products out if you have sensitive skin: I did this and I broke out really bad on my shoulders from the detergent

I was thinking that as well. This is also true for those with longer hair/products designed for hair! Many of these products contain ingredients not meant to stay on the skin. Natural oils produced by the body to protect hair can often cause acne on the back and forehead (think of those that have acne under bangs!) as well. I recommend a benzoyl peroxide body wash (it kills acne-causing bacteria) or body products containing salicylic acid/BHA. Retinol body creams might work as well! Just be careful with benzoyl peroxide creams as they can discolor fabrics. :)

This is a great idea ! However if you have sensitivities try using a little. Believe it or not many of us over use on high concentrated products. A tsp or less with water should be enough. If you have sensitive skin/ allergies try laundry products that are designed for that. But, this is a great concept with moderation.

Cantu shampoo and conditioner also works. And take some sheers to the ends if you need to cut off any damaged ends. Then you let air dry over night and spray some wig sheen on it as well and just like new.
