Hello. I have fixed zippers by lightly prying open the side that has come off (do not pry too much or you may break it), placing the zipper teeth back into the track (making sure the zipper pull is all the way down) then lightly tightening the zipper back up with a pair of pliers. Cover the zipper with a kitchen towel or cloth to prevent the pliers from scratching the zipper pull. Good luck if you try it smile 😊

I think the East Coast has better Goodwill stores We don't have bins in our Goodwill and I would probably get very tired going through them. I don't shop, when I think the stores are crowded. The driving scenery is so beautiful. Your make up is just so perfect. Are the bins filled according to items shoes together, clothes together, cosmetics together or they just toss everything together Do the bins have mostly new items that come from manufacturers or stores as new but didn't sell?

You Story of the man reaching over you at the bins...THAT is exactly why I don't go often (only been 4 times in last 6 years) and I never go in the mornings when they are "bringing" out the bins...I only go in the last couple hours and there are less people and not too much crazy going on. I just quietly look through things and I have found at least one good thing...ok great thing. I have not even listed it yet! Its a Christian dior corset. I sold one almost exactly like it for over $300....and how I found it? I had just gotten there about 4pm..they close at 6pm I think...and walked to the very first clothing bin. I saw something on the ground but in my rush to start looking ignored that thing on the ground but a worker came along scooped it up with a grabber and plopped it right in front of me. Karma? LOL. I picked it up and shocked to find a black lace corset! What luck is that? I think if I was going to be in that situation you were in waiting to be first in a bin I'd take a whistle...and if anyone did that to me...I'd grab my whistle and blow - HARD in his ear LOL. How dare he!? I am mad for you Lori! I'm 5'2" and now a grammie and most people think I am a harmless sweet thing but pull a stunt like that I can roar like a lioness. (so I think in my little head) LOL. No really, I can stand up for myself - and others. Otherwise, those nasty smelly giant men with long hairy ugly arms will just reach right over you every time. Or while everyone is waiting for the new stuff let a worker plop a vintage $320 corset in front of you LOL. Ok back to your haul...I'm calming down now. I just hate rude people who do not follow rules. Argh.

I sometimes blackout after a long day of thrifting, I forgot when I bought and then I remember when I take stuff out of the bags! It’s like thrifting all over again! Great video!

I can’t imagine having 16 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren! That has to be extremely expensive, lol. I have trouble keeping up with my 4! Hi Lori! Façonnable is pronounced “Fah-son-ob” and like you said it’s French. When I worked in Manhattan in the 90s and still had to wear a suit and tie to work, Façonnable was one of my favorite labels. A friend of mine worked in the midtown Manhattan store in logistics and hooked me up. Anyway, that’s how I learned the pronunciation lol. Your mom and aunt are so adorable. They reminded me of my grandmother and great aunt. Thanks for sharing them!
