Sometimes we tie our obedience to people’s response…. That was soooo good❤❤❤

Made a decision who I was going to serve. Thank God for helping me be obedient and stop worrying about the outcome

Commitment isn’t conditional-it is mutual. You serve one another out of conscientiousness and love. Things sometimes cause you to question dynamic shifts, but those are still approached with understanding. I believe tension is always being navigated, and the more mature and communicative both partners are the healthier the relationship is.

Pastor I have been praying and listening to your sermons since the beginning of the Red Flags series. I kept trying to stay in a relationship that was not working. The Lord kept telling me that this was not right. I left like Abraham and Lot did. I had a discussion and praise God that the Lord gave me courage. I do not know all the answers on why but before we went our different ways we disagreed on tithing. No matter what you tithe your first fruits and she disagreed. Not saying she is a bad woman great woman in fact but the Lord is doing great work in both of us.

Just got tangled again, thank you Lord for helping me believe in my experiences and strengthening me to make a move. Debating if I should just walk or let someone know why, but dealing with alcoholic so….

Amen, Amen & Amen! At one point my husband became an idol and God had to check me! I promise after that everyone can get it! 😆 But for real, my faithfulness, love and commitment is to God 1st. If that’s an issue, then they have an issue with the Holy One Himself, not me because I’m going to roll ✌🏽

Great message Here's something to consider. While you have a good heart and your wife serving you is an act of kindness, the person who wants to show that off likely knows a lot of people watching are in a hurting place and that would stir up the comment section. People responding from a hurt place isn't always a sign they don't deserve a good man, it means they have yet to have one. As men, it must be hard to understand the damage other men can do to women. (BTW, I never saw or commented on that video)

I understand this, though, I'm inquisitive to know what does God do when the other person is constantly disrespecting you and disobedient? When you leave an abusive situation, from what I've experienced, you are punished emotionally, financially, mentally etc. Specifically, how do you obtain peace when you are dealing with constant emotional, mental, and financial abuse when a child is involved?

I am in the Same Situation,God does not approve of any form of abuse to women. He Created from Adams Rib to be a partner by his side, Not from his feet to be trampled on. 🙏🏼❤️

I have been through a similar situation. When someone leaves a relationship of this nature you have to trust in God more each day. Trust me it's easier said than done, but you have to do the work in order for it to work. The first step to becoming healthier is seeking God to be present in every instance you are enduring or will endure while learning how to heal. Know that isolation is your best friend to starting a healthy healing journey. No one is perfect so expect the imperfections & continue the journey. I left the individual over 12 years ago & I am just learning how to properly heal. I have noticed that the most challenging healing journey is being in a abusive relationship that involve children. The reason it is challenging is because you want what's best for your children. But always remember God wants what's best for you as well as His child. I have learned how to set boundaries, forgive, and praise God through EVERYTHING during my isolation period. And when God brought me back to the situation to deal with it He taught me how to deal with my triggers. Seek God & His strength during your time of learning how to heal from your trauma. There is no timeframe for healing, just invest more time with God. God bless you ❤.
