Okay in basic terms having a separate swapable barrel necessitates a system to make sure the connection is tight for the performance to maintain the consistency afforded by making it one part, the best way I can think off is making a platform where the entire receiver and barrel can be replaced to swap to a different ammo whilst keeping the same consistency. Something like how the Caliburn's stock is a base, and an elite dart front half assembly can be replaced with a front half chambered in Mega darts, which is put together in a more structurally robust and consistent way. Anyway I need to stop I've already completely rewritten this entire verbose explanation from scratch, and at that it is really just meekly supported conjecture from my experience. Why did I spend so long on this...

The Caldwell Ballistic Chronograph can measure ammo of any size and can measure shotgun bursts with no issue. I figure, as a shotgun enthusiast, it might be a good investment.

I have one. I've had one for years. The problem is the lighting in the studio messes with it bad, so I had to swap to an enclosed option.

@WalcomS7 Fluorescent lights are the ones that mess with chronos. It took me a week to figure out that the high efficiency light bulbs I had were in fact fluorescent tubes in the shape of a bulb. I just turned those off and ran the Caldwell with a light kit, and it has been fantastic for five years and counting. You probably don't even need the light kit if you already have a good light setup for filming. Just make sure none of them were fluorescent and you're golden.

All they need is a break barrel design and here you can load shells that hold either a mega xl , mega shotgun,or half link shotgun shell the shells can then be just loaded and break the barrel load the shell fire and rinse and repeat with any choice of shells used on the fly

First off, absolutely love Mr skin. Secondly, I was gifted a Samson from FFW and Builder BB. It's the girth version and I absolutely love it. However it is really dependent on dart fit. It's kind of inconsistent in its ranges and takes a bit of a learning curve to learn how to load it so you can maximize the fit. Wonder if you have that problem. Also, I've been cleaning out Ollie's bargain markets of all of their girth darts. I don't even know how many I have now. The last time I picked them up it was over 500 darts. And that wasn't my first trip

Way too big a plunger tube to do it efficiently. The biggest sniper plunger tubes for airsoft guns are around 24mm. This is 54, and more than double the volume.

It's called an inline clip. The barrels are tapered, so the air goes around the darts in the back and only seals on the darts in the front.

I doubt it would fire all 18 at once, but the barrels are specifically engineered to fire only a single dart in line, leaving 2 darts behind it. These types of barrels are called inline clips.
