Forty bucks for four packs and an oversized YG. For me, I got one of those Black Friday discounted megaboxes that costed less than these blasters. If the retro pack hadn't contained Beniers, Boldy, and a red Owen Power there would have been no value at all.

Even in the States Target has their retail boxes for 24.99 from 19.99-with 7 packs in the box-no oversized YG's or anything. Usually I buy a couple-not this year.

It's not really the card companies that are jacking up the prices. It's mainly the card shops, breakers and retail stores, charging what people will pay for them. I'm not really mad at the retail stores because they did what they had to to combat the scalpers. Blame your local card shops and all of the people that got into the hobby when covid hit.

Ya the price of these are just stupid. You're better off buying from a LCS first & foremost like you said about hobby boxes or if you must buy from "Your best pals" buy a mega box instead for $57 but ya get 4 extra packs so kind of a better deal there at least imo .... maybe ? All upper deck retail products are an absolute joke! Waste of money! Every time I've bought retail I've been horribly let down! Why even bother? Better off buying the players you chase from the open market. The cards are usually destroyed before they come outta the pack. Quality control is ridiculous for upper deck.
