For me personally Neon is on the S tier for tac FPS, I perform the best using it. Played on all high/med/low sens. I have washed it like 4 times already and the coating is still going strong. Neon has higher static friction than G-SR but way less dynamic friction so you can do long swipes and don't get tired as much as with GSR (literally workout mousepad). It's a shame that Neon500 (big square version) uses different backing and is too fast so I have to leave with an imperfect size. For aim trainers Zero is the best by a huge margin. S tier. Vaxee PA is in the weird position for me: too fast for Tac FPS and too muddy for aim trainers. A tier. GSR - A tier, no problems with London humidity. XTEN Control - weird pattern and uneven feedback - D tier. Hator S1mple/Eclipse/Equate/AMP500/Inkedgaming/XTEN Control - my wrist gets stuck swiping so F tier for me. Going to try sooner or later: Pulsar Parabreak (still waiting for Japanese amazon), Jupiter, GPZ1. If I have to keep one mousepad for all games for my whole life - Artisan Zero.

@phylosophdotcom
@phylosophdotcom 2 жыл бұрын
@@kingofyoursoul for me xsoft hands down, I guess it depends if you push too hard or have a monkey grip, I don't. Just wanted to add that I don't like Zero for Tac FPS, too fast. For tac you could rather try Eclipse if your wrist won't have problems sticking to it. Eclipse feels like slower Zero Mid or faster and rougher GSR.

I have a question. Right now i have a more than 2 year old gp4 black and looking to upgrade. I feel like the mat is stopping my mouse a bit too much when i try to move the mouse and change direction when aimng so it feels a bit stuttery. Ofc the pad is old and ive never cleaned it so i understand thats a big factor. Never changed skates on my 3 year old Hati s either. Ive looked at the memoria pro, lånespelare, saturn regular, gp4 colored and to maybe just buy a new gp4 black. I mainly play deceive inc if you know what it is? Theres both tracking and flicking so i want the best of both worlds. I dont really use the ”press the mouse down” when stopping a swipe. I use what i think is a lower sens but i dont really remember my cm per 360. Think around 38cm no ads and and around 66 ads. Actually think its a bit too slow when im not aiming but cant go higher because then i cant aim lol. ( dont really ads in deceive inc) Would you reccomend any of these pads or another?

@mleise8292

I'll wash mine eventually, pretty sure. Steelseries says to use soap without aggressive chemicals, ideally hand soap, and then give it some time in a sink for the soap to seep into the fabric and dissolve all the grease. Then you can wash it carefully and put it somewhere to air dry. They warn of using hot air if you are in a hurry. 👍 Should have gone for the Heavy as well in hindsight as I noticed my rough wooden table is causing unevenness in the 2 mm baseline Qck. Now I have my old 85 cent foam rubber pad sitting underneath, which would be kind of a cheap way to upgrade to the "Heavy" if it wasn't quite a bit smaller. :D

SPC Endorphy seems like a great speedpad for low price at first, but mine started to produce big bubbles after just a few weeks. I guess the glue or whatever holds together the cordura layer and rubber base isn't up for the task. The intial feel changed pretty fast as well. It now has quite some initial friction and if you overcome that, it suddenly gets super fast and slippery. Quite impossible to control in hectic situations. I'd definately rank it lower than the Skypad 2.0.

I've been vibing with the Grandmaster SE recently. I know you didn't liked it since your initial review, but i really like the feel of it. Wish it had lower initial friction. Also, the design is spectacular. I wouldn't say Endorphy = MPC but, to each their own. As for the Dash - i haven't tried the so called "V1" or first gen. but i have the later on Made in Taiwan, i don't know how it differentiates since there is not clear answer anywhere but whoever says it is "Hien clone" is senseless / braindead. The only downside i find with it is the "Raiden" factor - it gets dirty rather fast. As for the feel, it's way smoother than Hien , doesn't feel abrasive whatsoever and has that weird feel "grainy" feel on your feet, like little bubbles that i've only experienced on MPC450 but it's even more present. Also, out of the box it feels "meh" i don't know why. As if there is some manufacturing leftovers / protective layer or something. Just felt off and slow. After 3-4 days i honestly fell inlove with it. I never found the appeal for the Hien and still to this date have mine but simply don't use it.

Excellent video as always, Haus! Though, I might suggest taking a look on the Pulsar Paracontrol v2. I heard it's a Hein clone but comprising a slower glide. It barely has any reviews in YT as of currently so a review from a recognised peripheral YTber in this particular field such as yourself would really give a huge impact on the relevance of the pad.

Idt its a hien clone, its slower than a AC2, which imo feels like a hayate otsu v2, however, the texture is rough and may be similar to the Hien from what i heard.

@@sololakey1906 I see. So far, the progress of my research has been rather vague. Other claimed It's a Hein clone as said and one claimed it has a slower glide than the QCK. And now, Hayate Otsu. I really hope one will finally clear this up. Otherwise, thank you for sharing a thought!

i have the paracontrol v2, its rough but smooth at the same time, so its not abbrassive on the skin. It doesnt really feel like a textured mousepad whilst using the mouse. Its way slower than a MPC450. Compared to a QcK it has alot more dynamic friction, but with the same initial friction than the qck. Compared to a Custom Equate its about the same dynamic friction but with way less initial friction on the ParaControlV2. Stitching is perfect, base is perfect. Any more questions?

My hien has worn down so much that the initial friction is significantly higher than my otsu. My otsu is just as worn but added a TON more stopping power. It went from otsu A tier, hien S --> otsu S, hien A. I don’t know anyone else with this experience though and I live in the bay area of texas. The humidity is terrible.

I own the Focus 3, Vaxee Outset, Corsair MM350, GS-R and Dornfinger raw Pad. The Vaxee (after a few month) is completely unuseable and extremely effected by humidity. I can’t even start moving my mouse on it after a few hours of playing. Same on GSR. The focus 3 also start having a hotspot after two weeks. The corsair .. I can’t say much about it. This pad is to high :D But holy… the dornfinger Rawpad Control is the best I ever owned. The glide ist spot on. Not really slow but controlled. And the best part .. no effect by humidity and no hot spot after one moth.

I'm using the focus3 right now and the smoothness of the pad go's very well with a sweater which I can move my arm freely without friction. Yet I want less static friction but then I have to move up to rough pads which I don't like. Is the phoenix or havu one with less static friction and still smooth pad then focus 3?

Hayate Otsu in B tier but Odin Eclipse in S tier...based lol but I like it. You say the Hien has a rougher surface (true) and more feedback (true), but the Otsu has better stopping power and the glide is not as fast, so I would say the Otsu is better for tac FPS than the Hien. Not sure I understood your comparison there. In terms of tac FPS I would say Zero > Otsu V2 > Hien, but perhaps I haven't tried the Hien long enough because it was just way too fast for me out of the box.
@hausgaming
@hausgaming 2 жыл бұрын
Depends what you mean by "stopping power", Otsu doesn't have much dynamic friction and not a lot more stopping power than the Hien. But what the Hien has is a rough textured surface which offers a lot of feedback, that can help a lot in tac FPS games. The rough feedback serves pretty much the same purpose as dynamic friction or stopping power once you really think about it and get used to a rougher surface.

i must say, i have the fnatic dash and besides it being expensive its a really great mousepad... dont judge only on price.... like... some people might hate a porsche not for how it drives but for the price, while others who can afford it will say it drives good, or bad, according to trying it out.... same for mousepads ... base it on how good or bad it is, not the price....
