hey retro! hand of dog has another mechanic! it's tied to an achevement! using the hand of dog you can actualy pacify the rot hounds! doing this 25 times gets an achevement and i think an unlockable!

Been playing this game since day 1 on Switch. I don't know if I would say it is masterpiece, but it is definitely close. What I can say for sure is that is a blast to play it, super fun, fairly deep when you learn its mechanics and lost runs due to mistakes or rng do not feel frustrating due to how fast runs are. RNG is actually right on the spot with this one, not too much, not too little. When you play this game enough, you go over the dungeons like a speedrunner (and die the same way as well)

There's an item in the beta branch that lets you befriend froggies for +1 max health so you can theoretically go companions with the hand of dog and froggy medallion and not kill anything

Hey man! Love your videos! You've introduced me to a lot of great roguelites and roguelikes! Was just going to say though, at least on this video, and more often now when you start a series that you first played on Twitch, is that you go over the basics to the game, but you forget that I've never seen the game at all before, and have no idea what is going on on the screen unless you tell me, or I constantly rewind to figure it out. You're a pretty fast moving guy, and I know you don't want a lot of dead time and want more action. But at least for the 1st video of a series, could you slow down a bit and really breakdown the interface so brand new people could follow along a little easier? Then in later vids, you can just point people to the first video if they want a good breakdown of how the game works. Just my suggestion. Really do love watching your content man. Found Dicey Dungeons and Hades because of you, and absolutely love both!
