Just sharing from my experience from working and customizing electric scooters, from the low-end models to the higher-performance electric kick scooters
There are Basic components found in most electric scooter that allow us to estimate the performance of most electric scooters on the market and also compare them.
Motor: An electric motor powers the scooter and provides propulsion. Motors can be hub motors (integrated into the wheel) or mounted on the frame.
Battery: The power source for the scooter, usually lithium-ion batteries, which store and supply electricity to the motor.
Controller: A device that regulates the flow of electricity from the battery to the motor, controlling speed and acceleration.
Throttle: A mechanism (usually a hand throttle) that the rider uses to control the speed of the scooter.
Brakes: Typically, electric scooters have both mechanical and electronic brakes for safe stopping.
Wheels: Two or three wheels, depending on the scooter design, which provide stability and support.
Handlebars: The steering mechanism for the rider, usually equipped with grips and controls for the throttle and brakes.
Lights: Front and rear lights for visibility, especially in low-light conditions.
Display: A dashboard or display panel that provides information such as speed, battery level, and mode selection.
Suspension: Some electric scooters have suspension systems to absorb shocks and provide a smoother ride.
