Light and Medium DPs have a high profile hurtbox on the first active frame in this game, so they can trade with moves that hit high enough or even lose to some jump-ins. Maybe that's what happened there on your wake up.

​@danielnam9026 its gotta be the option select with parry and their charged moves with forward P. If the person attacks, it's parried and the special comes out. If they don't attack, the attack just comes out. I figured that out while watching and was instantly intrigued.

I live in TX, I passed and unlocked Omega Rugal and Shin Akuma with Sagat, Ken, and Kim using S-Groove at our local arcade and held the top score until the game was removed, however before that happened I traveled to NC one summer and got challenged by an 11yr old Japanese kid, he PERFCT me the entire match. I retired that day 😭

Morrigan is a great counter-pick for P-Groove, since she's one of only three characters who can do chain combos and with the most hits and range. All she loses is any significant damage and having the most objectively dated/grainy sprites in the game. It's a hard sell, but you can make it work. Blanka's Electric Thunder and Honda's Hundred Hand Slap are also very solid challenges to P-Groovers. PS: Good showing at Evo, too!

It only dawned on me how this game uses almost all sprites from the Alpha series but M.Bison was completely redrawn. I think they maybe drew over Chun's sprite from SF3 for this game too? Just an observation I thought of while thinking they could do a Marvel Vs Capcom Vs SNK by just dumping all of these characters into the MvsC2 engine.

But I think maybe they drew over the top of their Alpha animations like they did with Chun's SF3 animations? Where as looking at Bison's stance I think he might be completely new? Just going by what I remember of this game and this clip so could be completely wrong. Edit: Hmmmm looking at Bison's attacks and think possibly they used SSF2T sprite?
