My partner suggested to have a Tom&Jerry marathon a couple years ago, and iirc one of the earliest episode had the owner of Tom threatening Tom to have his guts used used to make piano strings (that was never a thing but it's a common belief that cat guts were used for that) if he didn't show results getting rid of the mouse the owner got him for. That's when I decided I wouldn't watch the marathon. Had Jerry been more quiet and left less traces of him being in the house, there wouldn't have been any fight.

I grew up absolutely ADORING the Tom and Jerry Movie. I played the VHS tape so much it eventually stopped working. FUN FACT! That was the first and only time they ever spoke because no one liked that they talked. And it's basically the whole reason why there hasn't been any Tom and Jerry movies again, only TV specials (not including the shitty movie that came out semi-recently)
