I am a Christian and I fully trust that the bible is the word of God. However, I would like to pose a challenge to this argument for the sake of thinking deeper. Sanchez said that we should trust the bible because it claims to be the word of God inspired by God. I don't know if you can use the bible for proof that the bible is reliable. Otherwise any religious text that claims devine inspiration could also be trusted. How do we know that the bible has a rightful claim to be the word of God. Furthermore, how do we know which version of the bible is the true bible? Some Christian faiths have more books than others.

Please elaborate on what Bible you are talking about? because it's a big difference. In the King James in the beginning was the word the word was with God and the Word was God and that it says that the word became flesh prove the deity of Christ. If you've got other versions it says in the beginning was the word the word was with God and the Word was a god taking away the authority that Jesus Christ is God in flesh. So if I have the second version you just told me that I can trust it. How could two things different be the same? How will anybody ever know God unless they find the one Bible that God promise to preserve till the end of time. I would be interested in your answer. Probably many others as well. the question shouldn't be can you trust your Bible it should be which Bible is The Preserve word of God. Right now people all over the world who are watching this are going to pick up their version and trust it. That's pretty scary.

I dont really see how "because it says that its true" proves anything. Id love to see Dr Sanchez interact with and respond to some atheist arguments against the reliability of scripture. Citing proof within the work itself doesnt really do it for me.

Nobody knows what the profession of faith is or anything because there's nothing written in the bio. From what the scriptures teach us you should know those things before you listen to anything especially on the internet. Lost people don't know what they're doing.
