Great explanation. What any Igbo from SE and SS should think about is: 1. Why the Europeans removed father to son hereditary rulership from political power. 2. A feudal monarchy system is not good for development of a place or people. 3. If Anioma monarchies are from bini and as claimed by bini as onogies or dukes, all the resources in those Anioma monarchies are under bini and do bini own the resources in Anioma? In Europe fedual system or hausa fulani system, every one is slave to king or empires. 3. In bini and hausa fulani feudal system the king or ruler has a right to everyones production or income. He owned the land and protected it with arms and those on those lands have no right because he can use the arms to remove them too - it was a kind of slavery. In a Nri system, the Eze nri did not have a right to take ones production or income - he was given gifts presents as a religious leader who maintained certain services for the society as praying, culture, history, etc. Even those claiming bini do not understand that the bini took their structure from Portugal feudal system. Under a proper fuedal system, bini monarchy will have a right to Anioma resources and the king of bini will take what it likes. The king will not take all but enough to make sure the slaves continue producing for next time like in Hausa Fulani land before colonial times.

This's another very important lesson and eyes opening for our people, even in my town onicha olona we practice rotational kingship and my grandfather was a king then just as you said, Mark of republicanism in the spirit of ndi igbo, but the Benin tradition made it's way into some towns in Anioma due to migration and possibly invasion by the Benin kingdom
@knwaoke61932 ай бұрын
It was not invasion. It is borrowing. For example today we are using federal system from USA at government level. The USA population came from England, France, Germany, Europe, etc with monarchy based on one family but they went without the same monarchy type.

Bini don’t have it takes to invade any Igbo land It must have been borrowing and copying. Something we Igbo do to a fault and must stop

Great question my brother, if we as Anioma people are originally from Benin then the question is when and how did we loose our Benin language Benin culture and even the names that we bear, I think that this ridiculous claim of Anioma people being from Benin is undoubtedly aimed at dividing the entire igbo people just so they can conquer ndi igbo but it's not going to work because truth will surely find it's way out, the isele uku monarch has it's ulterior motives by claiming that they are Benin but yet bears igbo name speaks igbo language, how stupid does it sound. A day is coming when the people of isele uku will realise that they are being bamboozled with lies from the monarch.

Even the dynasty of ancient Iduu(bini) also journeys from Eri kingdom.

If the names of these towns and villages have bini meanings, then they are bini lands. But if the towns bear Igbo meanings, shows clearly that the lands belong to Igbos and the people are Igbos. There is no truth that bini people will give their towns Igbo names. That is a lie, simple.

Look my guy if you see yourself as an igbo man. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, honestly speaking. You and a lot in ika north east see yourselves as igbos. It is simply because you trace your roots from igbo migrant settlers. That however shouldn't make you think every other persons or groups in Delta north are likewise. The Delta north group is not homogenous in terms of ancestry, origins and roots, the entirety of it all. It is a cross culture. There are those who can trace five generations to urhobo, igbala, benin etc not just on individual but sub group levels. This agenda you and nna mehn have embarked on is heading nowhere and is a lot of times laughable. If someone who sees himself more as an urhobo tags you urhobo how will you react? Secondly that demographic changes over time have influenced dialect does not mean people will just forget their history. That origin and ancestry of theirs , the Benin, igala etc ancestry will remain with them to another ten thousand years. There are names in delta north igala or benin in origin, the ika/agbor and ukwuani dialect have many benin originating words. One of my names is Nduka but my grandparents , parents and cousins have Benin originating names. You and nna mehn are only telling one aspect of the ancestry amongst the multi lineage ancestries of the Delta north groups.
