I love Resincrete!! I got my pigments from Homeware design right before my car accident last month so I haven't been able to try them yet. I had asked JDiction if they were making a bigger package of the Resincrete and they sent me a message a few weeks ago with the link to the just released bigger pkg! So excited!!

Resincrete is an amazing substance. I've been working with it since its launch and have been nothing but impressed with it.

This stuff is GREAT. When it cures, it's like a good quality ceramic. It feels like a Hummel figure. It is paintable with craft acrylics (some work better than otters). I had great success with "Folkart" brand craft paint... It's easy to mix. It has the consistency of milk. At 30 minutes you can demold. It's surprisingly strong too.... As others said, the ratio in the description is incorrect. It's 10:3 (10 powder, 3 water).

Claire, I am so glad you had a chance to use ResinCrete. I love this product so much. I have been going crazy making trinket trays with it. Thanks for inspiring how I decorate the trays. I also used it with a little elephant pot mold from Temu. And my favorite, gnome mold from Temu. It does start out runny, but they are serious about the 10 minute work time, which is probably why it thickened up on you. I am looking forward to seeing more videos by you using this product. ❤

Oh, those bezels are *gorgeous*, Claire! And welcome home! Hope your trip to Birmingham was fun! I LOVE JDiction products, and pretty much don't want to use any other resin product, whether it's their UV products, various epoxies...whatever! Their customer service is also great. I will DEFINITELY try their resin crete. 😊

Oh, you've answered a bunch of questions I've been having about this stuff! I've been curious both about the Homeware Design pigments and how resin interacts with it, so this is great! I've gone through a few bags of Resincrete at this point and pretty much consider it my go-to now for eco pours. It's fantastic for even very thinly embossed areas. Still trying to find a sealer I'm 100% happy with, but the usual Minwax isn't too shabby.

When I used this product I fell in love as well. Unfortunately on one pour I had too much and it was setting up fast. I grabbed a coaster mold, not realizing that it was a holographic mold, and poured the resincrete in there..... no more a holographic mold. LOL Oh well, live and learn, right?? I love that you can break up the left over stuff and ADD IT BACK to your next pour! :D

I liked the resin Crete I bought it to try shortly after it became available. It's Pretty brittle in thin molds I would not have used it in the incense molds after pouring fairly shallow keychain molds. I could very easily snap them in half. Was disappointed in that aspect for thicker things like trinket trays it's nice but really not cost effective. 😕 it does set up insanely fast like have everything you need ready before you start mixing and go go go lol the bezels are cute.

If only JDiction shipped it to Australia. I got excited thinking I may be able to get this one to try seeing it was JDiction. I have tried one like Jesmonite here in Australia but wasn't keen on it. We can't get the pigments shipped here either as HomeDesign Co don't ship here. Hopefully I will find an eco pour here or find a company that will ship to here. Anyway great video as always. P.S. loved the Apron I won on the draw a couple of months back. 😊

I’d love to try this product, but I got a bit confused. With 90 grams of water wouldn’t it have been 270 grams of resincrete, not 300 grams? What am I missing? Do these dry hard so they don’t break easily? Is it non-flammable especially for resin burners? Thank you for demo-ing this product. It looks easier than Jesmonite. I love the necklaces!!!
@ClairesCraftyCorner Жыл бұрын
Ohhhh so it is 100g powder to every 30g water ... So I multiplied by 3 ... I used 3 x 100g Therefore 3 X 30g I hope this makes sense I am utterly useless with the calculations haaaa a
@SkitchBean_aka_Christine_E Жыл бұрын
The mixing ratio is 100 grams of powder to 30 grams of water. So Claire's mixture is correct. I have been using a calculator every time I mix a different quantity. 😂
@Vsv1224 Жыл бұрын
Thank you @ClairsCraftyCorner and @SkitchBean. I knew I was missing something. I was doing 90 x 3 to come up with 270. I’m thankful for the clarification. Y’all rock!

I've enjoyed experimenting with Resincrete too! one thing I've done is add stickers, wording, tattoos, flowers, etc and poured epoxy resin over the top. One more thing, I've added mica powder to the powder and stirred it well before adding to the water, it doesn't provide much color though. I wonder if you color the water before adding the powder if you'd get more working time....

Ok, I’m going to be the fan downer today. I’m not a fan….if this product….yet. It reminds me of using concrete/mortar mix I’ve used in candle molds. Clair, You need to approach using a new materials with a different mind set. Take a deep breath and remind yourself you have to know the rules before you can break them. So take the mad out of the mad scientist and follow the directions so you know how things are supposed to work. After that first time all bets are off.
