Vidit Gujrathi seems to be a new player after he won the FIDE Grand Swiss 2023. He won the PSPB Individual championships, then won both his games in Bundesliga and is now at the Gashimov Memorial. On Day 1 of the Rapid event he faced the top seed Richard Rapport in round 3. The Romanian GM is known for his fearless and creative brand of play. At 2:23 you cannot take with the queen because of sacrificing the bishop at b4, which pins the queen to the king. If a3 pawn takes the bishop, the rook will be captured with a check, giving black a devastating 2 point initial lead.
