I've gone to a draw 3 times now, all with either Vraska or Infectious Inquiry. Drawing in game 3 for the Bo3 is even more fun, and opponents usually don't have the stamina to go a 4th game and often just concede anyways. XD

@@Guevon_Pajaro Oh ye at least with things like Mono Red, if you remove and counter enough they are burned out (pun intended), but with Soldiers you sweep the board, and next turn they have 6 creatures again, and its a never ending cycle. But man that obliterator is just absolutely amazing, and Archfiend as well. You just put that thing down in a dimir deck, and if they play a Cathar you counter it, and they just cant attack you at all.

Very interesting take on the archetype. I do prefer Prologue to Phyresis versions, but this version just has better overall card quality. I need to translate this into Bo3 and see how it performs.

So why did they actually draw ? The card reads "you draw a card and lose one life. Proliferate" , doesn't that mean the first clause before the full stop happens first, so if that kills them you should win ? Am I missing something here ?

I agree. I would interpret the card that way if playing in person. Draw first, THEN proliferate, so the player that decks should lose, no draw. This could be something about how the MTGA client evaluates the rules (and maybe they had a dispute and the ruling was that both parts of the card take effect at the same time).

I'm trying to make Esper Toxic Raffine midrange work. The new counter and that dimir bird that comes back from the graveyward plus the double strike toxic guy, Skrelv's hive and Skrelv. Skrelv's Hive just seems like cheaper Wedding Announcment in that deck. I wish the WB corrupted signpost uncommon was a 3 mana 3/2 instead.

I don't follow the logic on Make Disappear here. It can "scale higher" than Bring the Ending? What? Your whole deck is proliferating poison counters! You play relatively few creatures! Both are at worst a 2-mana "counter unless they pay two"; one of them uses the mechanic your deck is built around to become a non-situational counterspell. The other will only ever be a tax, or a larger tax at the cost of a creature on your side of the field. Can anyone explain to me what his logic is for still using Make Disappear...?

He probably didn't think he would be able to get 3 poison on them to give corrupted to bring the ending. If you don't expect to make that happen soon or at all, then keeping make disappear makes sense if you have creatures to sacrifice.

Tried this deck on ladder. It sucks so hard. I don’t know if you played against mentally challenged people or if I’m the unluckiest player on mtga. But went 0-4 and never drew an answer for any of the multiple decks I played. All games on the draw btw
