I am being doing the same thing. 2 years ago, I learned that the tongue has power of life and death, and I didn't want to speak a bad word from my tongue, and express this about myself anymore or anyone, But, I kept these thoughts within myself. So I kept these curse words in my thoughts, and dwelled in them for a long time, bc I thought I was doing the right thing. I could speak good stuff, do good stuff, but think bad stuff. I literally thought I had a good heart, because there's a word that says, "that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." Not overcoming the lies in my mind really affected me: my mental and physical health. I agree we need to speak life, but also, I learned that I need to surrender my thought/mind to Jesus, because that's what all the bad issues and consequences in my life stemmed from. I had to watch videos about Christians saying that they hated themselves, and advice to overcome this. I literally confessed what I had inside me, all this suppressed hate in my heart. I disobeyed the word, didn't take my thoughts captive, and so I have to start all again over in repentance, and commit to Jesus. I have to trust the Word over my thoughts.

Ive been a christian all my life i left to the world when i was about 16 i am 20 now just a few days ago i had a complete breakdown because i realized how far i have drifted from Jesus, i prayed on the drive home and i vowed to cut sinful vids out of my life and stop my sinful lifestyle i pray for whoever reads this to shed a quick prayer for me leaving a long lasting addiction is hard but i feel a fire to fight that sin and the feeling of the Lord walking along side me makes me feel even stronger i pray whomever reads this right now that God guides their path and let his will be done, he loves you and is waiting for you repent this day and follow the Lord in JESUS NAME AMEN ❤❤❤❤✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️

U are Making the right choice and even if you fall remember that we aren’t condemned because he was condemned for all of us. You are completely free from that addiction just believe it. I was a heavy smoker and thought I could never change but Jesus saved me and set me free from it. I’ll pray for you brother in Christ. ❤️✝️🥲

@@gamefan8552 bro bro bro, God most certainly wants to speak directly to you. In the kindest way possible; sometimes we limit his ability to speak to us because of our unbelief that he even wants to. I did this for so long and still do at times. Like brother, would the Devil not think it’s the most perfect plan to make you feel unworthy of being spoken to by God so that you didn’t have faith to hear him? THATS THE WHOLE GOSPEL BROTHER! We aren’t worthy but he still did it anyways. It’s written, There is no favoritism with God and doesn’t love me or anybody else more than you. In fact, I believe the reason I’m responding like this is because he wants you to KNOW THIS❤️❤️✝️🥲

@@LukasStramotas My friend, I have faith in God (otherwise all else would be meaningless) but its not because I think he speak to me or that the Holy Ghost would speak to me. I do not tie my faith in God with He speaking directly to me. One can have faith in Jesus / God even if he never speaks directly to me or anyone. I'm fully aware I'm unworthy of him, but can rely on secondary intercessors to assist me, like Mary, his mother. She is also fully human like us, a created creature by God, but naturally perfected as one would expect of the one carrying Jesus in the womb. God can use any means to let me know something and in my experience its always through secondary causes (although granted there are instances in Bible were God was directly speaking to someone and directly inspiring others to do something, however there are also other times where God uses secondary intercessors to obtain same effect) One clear example is how Mary prompts Jesus to perform first ever recorded miracle in Bible during wedding in Canan. Mary, Jesus mother tells him of a potential problem with the wedding. (John 2:3) Jesus like the best and most obedient of all children, listens to his mother and does solve the problem, proving how God also uses secondary intercessors. We can see also this during Job trials in OT where God tells his evil friends to seek Job intercession to prevent God from punishing them after they spoke wrongly of him. (Job 42:8) "My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.” Agreed God loves all and everyone even if we do not always obey Him, however we show our love for the Lord by obeying him, which means we all can in principle go to Heaven if we do as God commands.
