You Didn't Know That We're In A Physical Media Golden Age

We're in a physical media golden age and you don't know it. Companies are putting tons of money and effort into physical media releases every day. People are realizing that streaming sucks. There are so many awesome releases that I can't even keep track. All of these factors add up to physical media being in a new golden age.

As someone who's been collecting physical media since the beginning of time, I wouldn't say it's the Golden Age, but I would say it is definitely the most expensive age. These prices have gotten out of Fukkin control. 🤘💿🤘

Personally I think we've long since lost the fight on physical media for Video Games. BUT I do believe that movies and TV is only growing and will continue to grow I expect it to follow a similar pattern to music and it's already starting when Spotify came out CD sales declined to really low levels but over years those same companies are figuring out that streaming services can't maintain the bottom line and as result we've seen the return of Vinyls and they are selling well! Think the same is and will be true with DVDs/Blu-Rays/4ks we've seen that downward slope I believe we've probably been at the very bottom now and now it's on a steady incline back.

Also it’s gonna be funny asf when Best Buy sees that they made thee biggest mistake by getting rid of all their physical media. To where they are gonna have no choice but to start selling it again cuz they are losing to much money from that dumb mistake lol but even then people won’t go buy it from them. Unless they have a great special edition but it has to be amazing if not oh well lol

That’s what I’ve been saying for a good while now. Yes I do stream movies and shows but that’s cuz Max has good movies and shows still lol also tired of hearing people say physical media is dead. No it’s not. Which is why I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again what’s gonna happen when every app people use to stream of all those end up crashing and it takes a few weeks or months to fix and upgrade. While streamers have nothing to watch cuz they tossed all their physical media. Here is physical media people are relaxed and enjoying our favorite movies and shows while others are freaking out for their entertainment lol 😂

The region-free player I did a video on previously has been working since I bought it in 2020. I use my PS5 and Xbox Series X most of the time and those haven't crapped out either.

Honestly, compare physical releases of back when to what you get now. The only times you get something really cool is if it's something that sells at well over $100. The days of cool promos, posters and detailed manuals has been over for a long time.
