Your dogs look like they would love to round up them geese that’s a great idea nice and simple way to move the fence all in one go 🇳🇿🐓

They would love to round up the geese. The dog there if the birds are out she will group them and hold them. Thanks for watching!

Would love to know what kind of pipe you used and how you fastened the netting to the pipe and some other pointers on construction.

At the pipe joints I put a 18" piece of 4x4 with the corners cut off. To hold the net I drilled into the wood and stuck the fiberglass post. On each side of post I put a staple. I recommend this for anyone moving net fencing. The pipe is the cheap triple wall drain pipe at home depot it is fairly flexible.

Good move. What a great idea. I don’t believe those birds are scared of the dog. They always make the noise.

Hey Russ, that camera lens makes that bend look a lot worse than you're saying it is. Looks like a fantastic solution - can't wait to see how long it works and if it requires fixing. What kind of pipe is it?
@RussWilson3 ай бұрын
You are right the camera does distort the pipe some. The pipe is the cheap drain pipe from home depot Triplewall Solid Drain Pipe

A cable from center front to center back could help stabalize the bowing. Might cause trippping, though.

That cold already? Still high 90s in central Trxas

46°f yesterday in northcentral PA, a few hours east of Russ. If he has as much wind as we do, you want layers AND a windbreaker AND water-proofing (we had rain yesterday here). When you work out in the weather, it is best to be able to shed layers and add them back, as needed.

It is getting cold for already! couple killing frosts already. Last years about 2 weeks later.

We've had 3 frosts where I'm at in New Brunswick and 1 morning the water buckets were chilled over. I've had to scrap the windshield twice. Winter is coming. Lol

Teach your dogs to yield, they're aggressive behavior scare the birds. This is really bad husbandry
@RussWilson3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your concern, but my dogs are trained to assist with livestock and wildlife management. Their behavior is monitored, and they play a key role in maintaining balance on the farm. Everyone has different approaches to husbandry, but I'm confident in how I manage mine.

It looked to me like the dogs knew what their job was. They knew it would not end well if a bird got too close to the moving fence. 👍🏼

@@ChrisMillerElFotoGuy surely the birds know that the fence bights
