Dang.... this video was deep and I agree with everything. My dad wasn’t sure about the furry community but he did his research and now he’s more comfortable with me being in the fandom along with my mom. He even wants to go in a pikachu costume :3 My older siblings are proud of me that I’m In the fandom. But also the ending gave me chills. But I agree with everything here, a few kids at my school are talking trash about furries whenever I’m around because they found out I was one. But I just ignore them. I know they’ll twist my words against me, that is why I don’t speak up for all of you because I don’t want my words to be the cause of me getting out of the fandom. I love this fandom and everything that’s in it. I’m also 13. Just putting that out there.

You both do and don't represent the furry fandom. You represent the furry fandom by the action you choose to do while in public or at meets. Your actions can be just as if not worse then an interview with the media. Your actions can, have in some cases, get conventions canceled because the hotel doesn't want to deal with it. In the same vein, your actions can show the fandom is a better light than any interview could.

I want to talk about one thing. Subcultures, some of people can't understand that. It is not problematic and you should always aware about it. As we say we are furry, that means that we are different as others about liking anthropomorphic animals. We became and came out as a furry because we want to say we are different in some parts. But I want to be clear about this too. We don't need to get understood by other people. It will be good if so, but no necessary. But it doesn't mean we don't need to get respect our rights, especially on human rights. We are human anyway, so we have rights to live, have fun legally, and not getting any words that attacks our rights. So this was MY opinion about what antifaux was saying, and thanks for reading this. [If the grammar or sentences are strange, I'm sorry for that. Becuase English is my second language I'm not good at it.]

I felt so attacked by this but I couldn't remember why I felt so guilty. But then I remembered all the times I tried to say what furries were. "people interested in anthropomorphic animals" There really is no definition to what a furry is. It's all an opinion, no matter what side you're on. Thanks for this. It really helped me realize what I was doing, even if it only affected a small part of the internet. The best thing I can do is speak for myself and be as kind as possible, no matter how unnecessarily aggressive people get.

Normalising us would destroy the fandom. We are all different. Dragons, foxes , wolves, cats, birds. We use furrys to show what we really are. Normalising that would kill the magic of escaping your life's worries. Fur suiting has helped me through tough times and it has for many others. If the furry fandom were to go down, many of us furrys would to.
