It's my first time teaching since about March 2020! Here's the first passing technique from my passing half guard seminar at my student's academy, Horizon BJJ. Crazy times with 44 people packed on the mat, it's good to be back. Hope you enjoy it too!

The man! I brought back the kesa gatame because of you, and that terrifying closed guard smash pass that Roger does as well. It's a pleasure to see you back and I haven't even seen the new video yet but I already know it'll be worthwhile 🙏

@@InvisibleJiuJitsu yes! I will (or I would, if lockdowns weren't still a factor). I've since watched the video in full. It has occured to me that BJJ titans in Roger and Braulio, both, of whom, reside and teach in England, use very smashy type passes. Furthermore, their smashing regularly involves the twisting of their opponent on bottom into a pretzel, so that their head and hips are facing opposite sides of the room, and that their opponent's body is curled like that of a shrimp 🍤. And here you are teaching a pass which does the same! I'm starting to believe that England has taken this to be their own style of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. If ever I come to train from across the pond, I'd be disappointed if I wasn't smashed-up like this from the local talent 😅 Keep up the good content! 👍
