I live in the south west of the state of Georgia in America. I enjoy watching videos of photography in Britain. Your country is so beautiful. I live just a five minute drive from a huge live oak tree. It draped, not too much , with Spanish Moss and under the right light is a very pretty photo. It is in front of a bank with a large grass covered lawn. I go by that tree, each time trying to see best angle. Found it and am planning to make my move. I will get an " okay" from the bank.

I enjoy your videos immensely because thet are fuul of information about why and how you photograph the forrest. I cannot imagine how much time you put into making your videos between taking the video in the forest to editing to posting. The video is excellent and the the audio is chrisp a clear. Always an excellent video. And then there is dancing. That's your thing. It allows you to stand out. Of course you know that the tree roots in the forrest are all connected so trees communicate with one another so they know you are there. I certain they appreciate your dancing also. Cheers!

It looks like you have many beautiful forests there. Sadly they mowed down most of the trees and fields here to put up houses and roads. Now all we have is a few small forest preserves with a ton of air traffic noise from jets. I'm planning on going to a state park but that is a long drive and going off the trail is illegal. A patch of untouched forest for me to explore but with a lot of restrictions and far away from my house. I don't even live in a city. It is beautiful here but if you want a ton of forest to explore you need to go on a trip.

The image at 2:48 isn't all that bad. The composition is sound. Maybe try adding the "Orton Effect" to it and dropping the exposure slightly!
@DavidFlowerOfficial3 жыл бұрын
That first image was lovely, there's definitely potential there. A little bit of soft light and a touch of autumn colour and you'll not only have an amazing image but also a great backdrop for your dance tutorials. You were filming dance tutorials, right?😂 Great video and also, the vertical tree shot was awesome 🖖😁
@CourtneyVictoria3 жыл бұрын
I agree, potential for that first spot but clearly not for that particular day. Oh...yes dance tutorials 😳 that's what I was doing...that would make sense 🤣😂 though not a bad idea 🤔

Hi Courteney, the opening image I thought looked fine, some tweaks in lightroom would have really made this pop and I would have probably added a vignette to bring the image into "the light" in the centre - some dodging n burning would work wonders, composition was good, well I think it was. Also liked the image at 4:37, think you have a good eye for an image, something I find hard within a woodland. A nicely edited video but unsure on the "fun for fitness" sarah interludes, lol. Good watch all the same. atb Alan

Thank you for watching. 😊 I did play around with the image in Lightroom for a while but for some reason didn't feel satisfied with it. Perhaps I'll go back to it at some point and see if I feel any differently about it. Thanks for the ideas though, always interesting to know how other photographers may tweak an image. No worries haha! The fun for fitness isn't probably for everyone 😂
