How does Australia allow its resources to be exploited by foreign corporations and other companies who pay no taxes or royalties? That's billions of dollars every year that every Australian should benefit from.

corrupt politicians - they don't give a rat about a common person ...Corporations and political mafia rule Australia.

The world is run by large Corporates, who control the governments. Governments control and tax the slaves, for the corporates.

There are plans to tax unrealised gains on superannuation in Australia too

Had a mate that moved to Phillipines, met a doctor, married, moved back to Australia and now she’s on 350k so they are comfortable. It’s like some weird reverse passport bro situation

Australia won't have a inheritance tax... government public self servents..own all the housing in Australia It's hidden behind the ,, koalas,, super animation

Good point on housing, there is a lot of vested interests in high places. In a way that protects it from being too much of a target.

I think the government is waiting until the voting block of the boomers is smaller, then I have no doubt that a death tax will be introduced. At the moment there are too many boomers that vote and no government will introduce the idea of death tax as it would be the death nell for hope of being elected.

I am seriously looking into other countries to retire to. I am a female pensioner, 68 years old and find it very difficult to see the drastic changes in Australia. But where else can I go to live in dignity? Someone suggested Panama. Are there other affordable and safe countries that I could do some research on and compare the standard of living?

GO TO THAILAND, CHECK OUT UDON THANI, MANY RETIRED WOMEN THERE, ITS GREAT !

Both Thailand and Malaysia offer a pretty high standard of living with good public infrastructure. Eastern Europe would have some good options as well.

@@offshoreinasia which countries in Eastern Europe would you recommend?

Udon Thani is a great place with everything you may need. If you want the beach, check out Hua Hin which also haves everything you may need + a large expat community. Cheers.

Just wait until you turn 70 and have to buy health insurance anywhere in Asia. If you plan the Smith and Wesson retirement plan at 70, moving to Asia is a good idea. Great, more angry Western women, brilliant..

Taiwan is one of the top 4 free countries now. I heard no CGT there. Do you know anything about Taiwan?
@HalKW2 ай бұрын
I would be cautious - China will some day invade Taiwan, and is also threatening Philippines.

@@w3s77 Indirectly they already control Taiwan. Taiwan has no resources, and plenty of weapons. AU & NZ have no weapons and plenty of resources, and govts have been asleep too long. Xi controls many AU leaders, and is moving into Pacific. US won't save us. Can you guess where they will go next?

Taiwan has some good visa options as well, which we will be covering in upcoming vids. Although you may want to have a quick exit plan in mind just in case things change there.

Sorry but you are wrong about inflation - same for most of the experts too. The reason the world is basically in a recession, is because the idiot Governments imposed interest rates to slow inflation. But interest rates reduces 'demand side' inflation - it does not deal with 'supply side' inflation which is what we have right now. It was not demand that caused inflation after Covid- it was supply side costs increasing massively - mainly due to much higher transportation costs and the cost of oil and all its downstream products due to Govts taxing oil and the supply side problem. Increasing supply is what was needed - not hammering businesses' and people's ability to spend by raising interest rates - that was totally the wrong approach.
