Great video! Informative, in depth, and I loved the "did you know" slides. Did a better job keeping my attention than almost any other deck techs out there. All I'd suggest is putting more focus on the cards you swapped in. Felt like they were on and off screen before I could even read the names.

Ah man, I love the mindset you have for this deck but I really dislike playing Infect as it always paints a bigger target on my head than needed, plus I just don't like winning through it. What type of phyrexian cards would you put in to remove the Infect creatures you have in the deck? Maybe phyrexians that can give themselves +1? More recursion? Lifegain/drain? I'm curious to see where you'd take it if the infect wasn't a focus of the deck! Thanks in advance and again, great build and very well thought out!

for those interested in using Norn Choirmaster in a deck that benefit well from it. put it on a deck with a commandee that trigg when attacks, putting counters, so Norn will also proliferate those counters. easy example from same commander set: Otharri, that phoenix when attack makes 1 exp counter and then make an swarm of rebel tokens equal to your amount of exp counters, so if you dont have any exp counters, put Otharri trigg to resolve firar, if you already have exp counters, put norn choirmaster trigg to resoulve first, proliferating that counter, then otharri put another counter an make an even bigger swarm of attacking rebel tokens

You can easily get this deck to turn 6-8 wins by including a few differet things. Pyre of Heroes lets you cheat in Skittles with haste for 1B 2 colorless and sacrifices a phyrexian to proliferate at end step, and can fetch things like ichor rats or gulping scraptrap to either add counters or proliferate on entering. Throne of Geth lets you sac artifact phyrexian creatures like your incubated creatures (turned over), that's two proliferations in just your turn. Ashnod's Altar let's you sac, gain two, and hatch an incubator for free. Core Prowler proliferates when it dies (two on your turn), gulping scraptrap proliferates on entering and death and will trigger Brimaz for a total of 3 proliferations just on your turn. Strionic Resonator can also double Brimaz's end step ability. I run this in a high level pod and it never stops being a major targeted threat. I can provide link to deck if wanted.

Love the list keep up the good work. Liked the insight on how to build tribal would be good to see you fix other peoples lists and how you would and why. Maybe like an episode on common mistakes? 😊 Also for example if I were to join the patreon would I be able to request a deck to get built and critiqued like my Zedruu list? 😊

Thanks for watching! I'll keep that in mind 😊 Absolutely! We have a discord where we check out each others' decks, talk about cards and other stuff too.

Love Orzhov Phyrexians. Hate poison\infect\toxic as a concept. Just not fun for me to play or play against. I put a ton more Elesh and Sheoldreds in mine and have an absolute blast playing it

So i have this upgraded precon in a Phyrexian tribal version with bigger creatures and less reliant on infect but the deck feels really slow with big creatures i never feel like having the mana to even turn the incubater tokens into creatures. So choosing your deck as a starting point how would you upgrade it to become more of a 8/8.5 for a higher power table(not becoming a 9+)? Do you have any recommendations how i could solve the problem in my deck?
@aegisgamingofficial21789 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Hmm, that's a hard one. I've got strict standards for what I'd call an 8, and Brimaz requires so much setup... If I were to speculate though, if someone told me they had an 8 Brimaz, I'd guess it looks something like this: - Brimaz takes a back seat. He's there as an occasional payoff for *artifact creatures.* - Phyrexians take a back seat, and the only ones we sacrifice are the incubators, if we even do that. - The real core of the deck is likely made of artifact creatures, and revolves around some combo. At a guess, Mikeaus the Unhallowed makes for a decent combo piece with this setup by returning dying creatures to your battlefield. Walking Ballista would pair with that for a win, as would Heliod, Sun-crowned. There's plenty of card draw, interaction, and tutor effects in these colors to make that work smoothly and quickly. There's nothing wrong with that build for Brimaz either, that's just not in line with how I build commander decks is all. Hope this helped! Best of luck! 😁

I like a lot of these ideas but I can't keep watching after being recommended Orzhov Signet. That is the worst Orzhov card in the game.

Awesome video, wish you would make it more clear of what cards that we think we SHOULD include vs what cards we NEED to include! The "cards to avoid" section shows which cards we "need" to include. Just seems like an oversight. Regardless, thanks for the breakdown! Liked and sub from me
@creamsoduh63928 ай бұрын
You do an in depth guide on which cards to avoid, but dont even spend 1 second to explain the reason on which cards to include instead
@aegisgamingofficial21788 ай бұрын
I apologize if this was unclear, but allow me to explain. The criteria for what cards to include are explained in the Things to Keep In Mind section of my videos (I don't want to have to remind viewers of the same 4 or 5 points every time I talk about cards to swap). Those criteria are the checklist by which inclusions should be judged. For example, in this deck, I wrote that what we're looking for are *low cost* - Phyrexians that - Have sacrifice outlets, or - are sources of counters, or - Ramp, Tax, or are otherwise very efficient. For comparison, the cards that we put in to replace the Cards to Avoid all satisfy one or more items on that list. Compleated Huntmaster, Chittering Skitterling, and Aron are all phyrexians that act as sac outlets (and two are even sources of counters!) Annex Sentry, Benalish Sleeper, and Ichor Rats are all very efficient, low-cost creatures that interact with our opponents or put important counters where we need them. Austere Command, Terisiare's Devastation, and Rite of Oblivion I actually did elaborate on. We need sweepers that are one sided in a creature deck, and Austere Command and TD both accomplish that much more effectively than the cards we took out for them. Rite of Oblivion isn't a sweeper, but it *is* a sac outlet, satisfying an item on our checklist. Hope this cleared things up. Thanks for watching!
