I’m about to embark on a big career change moving away from the arts towards a job with better work-life balance. Working in theatre is a HUGE part of my identity and the connecting glue that holds a lot of my friend circles together. But theatre has chewed me up and spit me out, and I just want a job where I can go home at 5pm and be able to live a life outside of work. This message sounds a lot of what has been told to me in the past about doing a new career in healing. However, it shows moving away or lots of traveling. I can't move away because I am married and my family is still with me. Probably traveling might be more feasible. My husband probably will realize that I won't be around anymore or not as much so he has to do a lot of things for himself if he doesn't travel with me.
