Good explanation... before you pointed it out in the video, I was already wondering if it would connect w/Azure AD. And I like in "Step 4" that it lets you easily copy the script command. Very handy. Question, if there is a perpetually free 1-person plan, could this somehow be used as a commercial VPN replacement on a personal PC / Mac at home? (perhaps as a replacement for products like NordVPN) It would be overkill, but could be effective and faster ... I really get eaten up on speed reduction when I activate my pc's VPN.

Thanks, yes it’s a handy service. About your question… as always, it depends 😄 There is a perpetual free plan, so that is not an issue. The “problem” is that you need to install your own connector, as I explain in the video.So it is down to: what do you need to connect to? If for example you want to use it to connect to a remote PC, than yes, you can use the manual installation process and you’re good to go. Do you wanna use it to watch Netflix in another country? (Assuming that is as not illegal 😁) then it is a little more complex because you’d not only have to find a pc or server in that country where you can install the connector, but you’d also have to fiddle with networking (mainly routing and gateway transit) on destination side so the traffic can flow through the connector to the internet in the remote location. If you can do that, then yes it would work. Not the easiest setup, but certainly way more performant than say NordVPN

17:17 ❤Is there any additional information about it? Runner😅
@CoderDave Жыл бұрын
Hey, I am not sure about what information you need. In short tho, you can use the service account created, add it to your action runner (where the twingate client is installed) and use that to connect

@CoderDave Жыл бұрын
It’s not designed for that 😅 but I guess if you install the agent on some VM or cloud in the US it could be possible

@@CoderDave Is the twingate program the agent? I’m not familiar with the terminology.
