I bought it as well and it only lasts 10 minutes max. My advice is to always use lip balm/vaseline in the morning and at night, use contour around your lips and a lip liner a few shades darker than your natural lips. Personally I take it very far with the lining on my bottom lip in the middle because it's not very noticeable>) then you can apply a nude liquid lipstick or a clear gloss in the middle. It seems like a lot of steps but it's not that much, I've got used to it perso!

I have a thinner upper lip and have taken your contour advice and it really works. It takes some practice to make sure the colour is right and that it doesn't look dirty but a light hand and going through the steps to the end - not stopping to obsess on the contour - makes a nice finished product. Without lipstick, the contour looks a bit weird, which is why I say one has to push through to the end. Thanks!

I was 10kg lighter and thought I was fat, gross and hated my body at that time. We're definitely not appreciative enough of our present selves. I don't contour my lips i just have a sticky lipgloss and than add 2 or 3 drops of vegetable glycerine which is super moisterising and makes your lips plumper that way. It also makes the sticky lipgloss less sticky which is how the experiment with the glycerine got started in the first place . :)

I don't mind when someone just slightly over lines, that is the only undetectable technique I've seen until this video. So yeah, just wanted to say kudos and I hope this spreads like wildfire cuz I'm tired of looking at balloon lips all over my IG lol. Especially of ppl that already have naturally huge lips! Good tutorial. I have seen people doing insane dark full circle contour around their lips and I know there is no way- offline, in daylight that it looks good. This felt much more subtle and believable and less like you have an accidental makeup mustache. Interested to see if I can make it work on my pale skin or if it will be too obvious and harsh.

I occasionally do this. It started with a Kat von D video of contoured red and black lips and the effects you can get are amazing! I dont know why it isnt a huge "thing". In fact you should reach out to some makeup companies you like to do a contour collab...I think it could be as huge as the brow thing(s). My advice for anyone with thin lips like me: I don’t like contour my lips, I don’t like wear a lot of lipstick so this is what I do: I use the yves saint laurent lipstick rouge pur couture 01 (I think) and yes it’s a red shade but I apply the lipstick on the inside of my lips and with my finger I try to blend it. I use too little of that lipstick and I love the color cause it’s ike a pink, looks natural and makes my lips look juicy and not so thin
