Another enlightening lecture by Shiekh Hamza "May Allah bless him". What he is saying is true about the material society that is spiritually poor. It values only material wealth, even when a person has a spiritual treasure. I, as an author, have two books in the market, but I am not making any money for living out of them. If I was offering an entertainment service, I would have made a fortune by now!

The problem is some of the poor Muslim men, African Americans, like one of your students, borrows large sums of money from sisters in the community and take advantage of converts, sexually and financially. Rather than trying to glamorize poverty sheikh, you should be teaching your followers financial literacy so they don't have to rely on government assistance. Why are some of your followers on welfare, living off of their wives labor, and tricking new convert sisters? You need to talk to these brothers

It is the fault of the one who keeps getting fooled. Just start over, sister. Get the prayer going and become a friend to the elderly, the disenfranchised and the poor, and find some good women. A revert completely alone; Allah alone we worship. SubhanAllah Alhamdulillah.
