I love Ruan Mei, she is such a complex character. The thinks she has done are a lot of the times, unforgivable, but that doesn't mean she isn't a pityfull person. She doesn't understand love, but she loves so deeply that she cannot overcome her own grieve and now she moves with a purpuse but without actually undertanding her own purpuse either. Weirdly enough, she is basicaly doing the same thing king Gilgamesh did at the begining of human history: trying to run away from death and the suffering it brings. I love Ruan Mei and I hope we can see more of her becouse she has so much potential for developement.

I remember laughing at the end of the whole Starcrusher thing. With her "I didn't know how to go about it so I coerced you into doing my task instead", my only response was; "this isn't the first time someone's asked me to kill something for them, you could have just been upfront with me woman lmao".

And honestly, some hated characters of animes, games, series, etc are hated by the audience because of their “unusual”, “unnecessary”, “weird”, “evil” actions when other characters literally destroy planets, kill ppl with no remorse, steal, lie and more “evil” things But they’re all common cases in fictional stuff so no one really cares (No hate towards anyone)

Ruan Mei is a Psychopath. Period that the game FORCES on you. You can completely decline Kafka Companion quest if you want and get the rewards if you hate her that much. You can tell Sparkle to get lost and never see her again. Ruan Mei somehow is except from this. The game FORCES her on us even inviting her on the Astral Express.

I am currently on that qeust right now and i got on the part wbere Ruan mei wants to examine an emanator but can't and then i just couldn't understand why doesn't she asks herta to let her be examined or at least get some hair or dna

I hate Ruan Mei. She's literally the only Character the Trailblazer cannot be rude or made at in any meaningful way. She even gets invited on the Express despite the fact we last know her for nearly destroying the Space Station. You can show disapproval and even decline Kafka and Sparkle. But Ruan Mei is somehow except from this. The game forces us to be friendly to her. This is why I hate her so much. I don't care about her past. She's an Utter Psycho.

I think it's not even being forced to be friendly. We're pretty much forced to obey her or we gonna stay drugged lol. She does have a sad backstory, but yeah, she's still a messed up person.
