Such a good and funny video, I love it. Spear shield poke is a good setup for a parry. That’s annoying, so opponent will try to break your guard when you poke him couple of times. With greatshield talisman it may be a real pain in the ass for others, and for you, if you are too greedy and failed stamina management with your poking) if you feel the distance between you and opponent, you can just poked him to death. Lost gave a good view how aggressive spear can be, even one handed

Watching Lost try to parry is like watching a 1-legged dog trying to climb a fireman's pole. He's not gonna get it but you still watch and encourage him for some reason. Probably because you love the little guy...!

Ds3 Partizan was an underrated monstrosity. Every attack in its move set had a use. My favorite all time combo was R1 -> L2 -> R1 -> rollcatch R2 -> L2 -> R2 -> rollcatch jump attack if they roll backwards. It was glorious

i really like the short spears, its honestly the only ones i'll ever dual wield and its mostly because it reminds me of the drang spears from DS3 and going full consecutive attack buffs and trading hits with them is very good when you treat them in a similiar fashion to dual straightswords when choosing ashes of war.

I like running dual spears but I two hand one and use that throwy ash, so it looks like I'm throwing a spear and then pulling a new one off my back. I wish there was a dedicated dual weapon for every weapon type, almost like in DS3

@blakewarren5709 you know how radan's greatswords are a set of twins words, where two-handing it defaults to power stancing? Power stancing was brought back in elden ring but it wasn't a thing in DS3, so having two weapons in hand didn't give you a new moveset. But there used to be specific paired weapons that simulated powers tanking. The same way radaan's sword do. There was a singe weapon pair for almost every weapon type, and most of them were twin weapons except the katanas (they were two unique katanas) and the spears (one was shorter than the other)

double spear is very broken in pvp, and not bad at all in pve. In fact power stance spear has pretty high dps if you build it right.

For me it's a surprisingly effective build. Maybe tweaking a stat here and there can make it even more viable. The first two invasions were quite funny. 😂

My only problem with defensive shield gameplay in Elden Ring is that they did that PvP-specific nerf to shield guard boost, so it often feels too easy for players to break your guard. I'm pretty certain they did it just because the fingerprint shield was too good, but why wouldn't they just nerf the guard boost of the Fingerprint individually?? Anyway you can still build around shield usage, but it's annoying that a medium shield often feels like a piece of cardboard. It helps to increase max stamina with talismans or boosters, and of course use the greatshield talisman.
