Hi mate. You can send Barbour coat to Barbour themselves. We did that and paid them £50 for a dry clean and re-wax. It was well worth the cost as we sold the coat for over £200 They also offer a repair service. I think they contact you after receiving the coat to let you know the cost before they proceed with the repair. Check it out online for future reference. Cheers

I find one of the hardest aspects of sourcing is finding something that has the potential to be fantastic, and is well priced, but the condition majorly lets it down. It's a bit of a sucker punch as you know there's still profit to be made, but ultimately the eventual sale price would be nowhere near what one in good condition would fetch. I say you did the right thing by leaving it, as the effort to restore it to a good bill of health may not be worth it; we're here for profits not projects! Those Megazords though, whoooooooooooooooosh, THAT IS why we hunt!

Its something I'm trying to be more aware of Chris... Overstocking. Its all too easy to keep buying stuff that might bring a profit. I know if I bought that Barbour coat it would sit in my death pile forever... there are too many other things that are easier to list and they inevitably will take priority. I pciked up more than enough today to see me through to next week so not losing sleep abut leaving it behind

I wouldn’t have passed on the Barbour personally, it’s one of those items that sell in any condition surprisingly! I’ve sold mouldy ones with holes all depending on price but you’d have got 40 for that if not it was an easy fix and you’d have got £80 all day for a max £10 repair and quick wipe of that pocket. Especially because you picked the Jeans up with damage for £5 and the max you can get on a good condition pair is £25 that’s usually black ones I find too. 5er extra and you’d have that jacket which could get a max return of probably £100 fully repaired cleans and waxed. Effort tho granted but worth it for the return.

I'll be honest... i am now regretting not getting the barbour, it was only tenner. I know though that it would go in the 'too much effort' pile and I wouldn't do anything with it (if got an orvis jacket which is the same). As a part timer, I have limited time as it is and anything that does take effort usually is trumped by other items that are quicker to list

I'd have picked up the Barbour, you can send them back for repair but it looked like a simple fix plus it looked like it had the hood, they often go missing.

Saw that one but that was no power rangers or bike... was just the little piece of track so left it

@@MasterofPieces Isn't the point of being a collector is picking up all the little bits and storing them for when you might need them if they are cheap enough? £4 for that broken toys and spare road seem like good pick ups as spares for a collector? Also you need to use vinted that coat was a no brainer if you can shift that effortlessly on there for £20 with no extra work

£7 for the Lego boat was a nicely priced . I’ve seen worser Lego bundles priced a lot more in shops I’ve gone in. Awesome retro goodness found by MOP 🔥💪🏻. I’d of left the Barbour jacket too mate . Condition just not there the good return potential is killed by the damage.

yeah i’d have left the jacket. The value of Barbour has come down over the years and that was too much work for what the profit margin would be. Sending it off for repair would surely be a waste of time too as that service would surely cost 30-40 quid.
