To make progress, it's a lot more than mind over matter, it takes self discipline. There are things in life that take discipline, time and patience, this is why you should value the things that consist of them, because the more you put into something, the more you'll learn to appreciate its worth.

I can't feel regret, I hate being alive, I hate every piece of the social mechanisms that make up our society, I hate the human experience, I'm just too scared to kms, so I'm waiting to die. (To anyone who commented words of strength, and told me to keep trying, thank you, I'm doing better, I found love to live for)

You don't ever quit, boy, EVER!
@Aislinsweetdreams11 ай бұрын
@@daleupthegrove6396 I really wish I could, Ik you all seem like you care with kind words, but if I was a bum on the street, I own my own home for reference, but if I wasn't a productive member of society, the majority of people would think I'm a POS person not working, but I never asked for anyone's policies, the politics, my family who never paid attention, this society, other countries and their wars, i never wanted any stake, it's just all happening around me, and none of it has anything to do with me, I'm just expected as a man to be a participant in things I don't care about, I don't want to raise kids, I don't want to be an employee slaving away for someone else's dream at any company, nor do I want to sell myself to other people, this whole world is hell to me, I'd rather live alone growing potatoes in the middle of nowhere. All I ever hear from men, and women is "be a good provider" "protector" I protected me growing up, I worked really hard, and everyone has always kicked me down called me weird, people just don't get me. I'm alone everywhere, I feel like an Alien landed on Earth, and I just can't understand people, and it's hell.

There is light at the end of the tunnel Keep grinding this dull moment shall pass
@Aislinsweetdreams11 ай бұрын
@@mazziek6595 it's not the difficulty that bothers me, I actually am at home working in the grind, I'd rather be working silently, doing something, making something, it's the moment of being the work, being the grind that gives any sense of purpose to my life, but it is not enough. It is no higher purpose, or God, or reduced to materialist thinking, it is a means of survival, not creation, I labor to feed my physical appetite, instead of the whims of my own soul, my psyche, my inner self does not enjoy grinding in life, because in a modern society each person is a business making transactions with a society, and I don't want to be defined in contrast to society as a member, or a rebel, nor in contrast with anything, I seek self definition, and it's becoming a challenge in an increasingly interconnected environment, as a truly free individual who doesn't believe any government of any countries bull shit as Terrence McKenna would have once said, I do not belong in a connected world. Humans as a whole may be social, but I'm one of the exceptions, I avoid sociallity as often as possible.

Miyamoto Musahi believes the "WAKE UP & GRIND" mentality ultimately causes self imposed stress and dissapointment which lead to depression and burn out. Then, a long recovery and the cycle begins again. He says that life is a water that flows. Instead of paddling to your destination in a haste to meet deadlines you created yourself, you should be as a leaf on the surface of the river and allow life to carry you to your destination effortlessly. So instead of arriving stressed, tired, and needing to motivate yourself to do the work at hand, you arrive, focused, rested, and calm. Ready for whatever tasks lay ahead.

Whoever did the captions is a mess. You really messed up the Roosevelt quote? “Who heirs?” Really? Heirs? Heirs makes zero sense in that context. It’s “Who errs” Errs. Not Heirs.
