This is the perfect portrayal of feeling stuck and depressed. Your car (your life) has had its tires slashed and now, even if you press on the gas, you barely move. The rain (other people, current situations, fears) keeps pouring down, and you don't see any other vehicle in the distance, so you see no reason to leave your car. You wait, and hope that someone will come around, or that the rain will stop, but life gives no guarantees. You now regret coming here, you should have stayed in the comfort of your home, but the past is over, and now there is nothing you can possibly do.

ya'know how complementary colors, when placed together, make each other really Pop out? Its why old video game designers used colors like orange and blue together so you can clearly see Simon Belmont against a blue background. I figure how soothing horror game/movie music can be can really make the terrifying or blood-freezing moments stand out starkly. 🤓

Today was a strange day. Even though, at first glance, nothing happened. Nothing at all. I woke up and felt this heaviness, this obsession. The endless and boundless expanse of my clouded mind. The more I tried to find a way out, the more I was enveloped in this thin but unbreakable shroud of a mixture of fear, anxiety.... Fear. Animal, though different. When an animal is frightened by the sound of thunder, flashes in the sky, it is frightened by sounds and flashes of light. But my anxiety had no cause. It was like something you forgot about or something that hadn't happened yet. I felt I had no place in this world, I had no place here..... I got up, ate breakfast and went outside. The overcast sky covered my city in an impenetrable cocoon. Every step I took felt like an eternity, and every breath I took brought back memories from the past. Mine? I don't know. I see people deceive themselves day after day, lie to their consciousness over and over again just to keep living. I've never been able to do that. If there was something wrong, something that was screaming and yelling around the corner, I couldn't just forget it, dissolve it into myself. Then my soul would scream and shout along with reality. And today, wandering through the streets as if through the veins of a living organism, I realised that I don't belong here. I am an infection that one reality fights against and another one feeds it. I don't belong to myself, my soul came from nowhere and into the darkness it will return. I look at my fingertips and see an illusion. These fingers do not belong to me. My body destroys itself every day and recreates itself anew before its time finally runs out. We are but an accident. Our lives are only important to ourselves, but then why can't I feel solid ground beneath my feet, why can't I find a foundation for myself. Because there is none. It's just an illusion. An imitation of life. An imitation of fingertips. Imitation of bad or good moods. Imitation of chaos and order. Imitation of good and evil. We all play this game here. Even though we think the pain is real, it's not. It's hidden behind the twists and turns of our brains where particles move, disintegrate and reconnect. That's what haunts me day in and day out. I can't find myself in this haunted world.

Don`t know how to explain. But the only thing that brings harmony to my life is my wife and being somewhere far away from people, in forest, by the river or a sea shore.

silent hill can be your current town, it's an alternate spiritual world " the other side " remember in silent hill movie when rose was in silent hill " the other side " and her husband harry was on the real world but they were in the same place? he smelled her perfume, which means they're exactly in the same place but each one is on his current world. therefore, its fictionally possible to be phased to silent hill.

The town of silent Hill is based off a real town in Pennsylvania called Centralia. In the 1960's a fire somehow got started down in one of their coal mines. According to scientists in the late 80's the fire will most likely die out in about 350 years. As of 2019 there were only 3 people still living in the town. But I digress, pleasant sleep

I used to visit Centralia every so often in my teens and 20s, and take pictures of graffiti highway. I loved noting the differences of how big the cracks were getting. The remaining locals aren't keen on visitors. We were almost approached by a pickup truck until they saw I had a camera and we were only there for pictures and not shenanigans. Polite wave with my camera in hand, they were basically just signaling that they were keeping an eye on us. I get it, a bunch of teenagers hanging around. Everything is covered over, you can barely tell where the house plots were. That was 15 years ago at this point though. They covered the stretch of highway over with dirt a couple years ago, I was devastated! I wanted to take my stepson to see it but can't now. The creepy cemetery is still there, as well as a really cool church on a hill. The fumes and gasses are no joke though, especially the closer you get to the quarry. It's truly not safe to breath around there. Part of that highway ran alongside the quarry, so I understand why they covered it up as it is dangerous. Still sad about it though.
