I could never get into Outlander. Even the books. Couldn't finish the first book. Apart from that, I really like the other shows. Bridgerton was really the highlight of my December too. Watched it in a day lol. I enjoyed reading the Bridgerton series so I was excited about the Netflix series. I loved Rege of course hahahaha. I love romance novels too. Lisa Kleypas is one of my favourites. Also Elizabeth Hoyt, Teresa Medeiros, Kresley Cole and Gena Showalter. I used to like Nora Roberts but I realised that her stories were quite similar so I lost interest.

I was one of the few people that fell in love with outlander when it first aired like some 3years ago. I fell in love with the series, I think I stopped at season 3/4 I got tired of the whole cycle of going and coming. I love anything that has to do with time travel as regards to mystery. I was so tired of the series after investing so many years following up on it. I gave up, but now that you mentioned it I was tired of the whole rape thing. I was really ill and I watched Bridgerton and felt as if it caused me to recover really swiftly . I love the Duke !! I know I read the Duke and I but it was so long ago that it felt new. I watched Emma last year too and I wasn't too into it but I read the book Emma and I didn't like how controlling the main character was . I loved the 1st part of season 1 Outlander and the rape issue scared me off too .I can't be watching prolonged rape scenes of both men and women , my life is tough enough !!!
