Another tip is that they don’t contour cheeks bc they prefer a softer look than a defined look and also another tip is that if the lip is bold the eyes are subtle, if the eyes are bold the lips are subtle it looks like both your eyes and lips were bold hopefully this helps and makes sense

I agree with choosing between eyes and lips. Having balance is extremely important and makes your makeup look more polished. Either your eye makeup is bold or your lips are bold. It shouldn't be both unless you are going full glam

I would say her eye makeup isn't as bold but just defined enough. She has large eyes that might end up looking too bland against the rest of her naturally defined features. Her facial features really does need makeup definition just to be harmonious enough.

Korean everyday eyeliner does use brown/dark brown liners byt they rarely have cateye pattern. They often go for droopy eteliner to make the eyes look slightly bigger and cuter And a lot of them prefer not to contour to keep that fuller cute face

yes omg i noticed korean celebrities and models, you almost have to strain and look realllly close to confirm they're even wearing blush. they don't live for blush and contouring over there like they do here in the west. also, they of course use dark liner on top, but it seems rarely on the bottom of eyes, or if so again so faintly that you'd have to peer to confirm this. they reallllly love the "barely any makeup" look there.

@@sc33h3o3 droopy as in they don't pull their eyeliner up to form a cat eye, they generally continue pull it ever so slightly downwards beside the eye. It creates a round effect and gives the eyes an innocent youthful look (sometimes they also call it the puppy eyes look ig) You can see those makeup looks in dramas

The blush under the eyes thing is amazing if you already have high and defined cheekbones. It softens your features and does indeed look more cute/youthful than placing the blush right on your cheekbones/contouring with blush. I also do something similar with highlighter, I really only place it at the top of the apples of my cheeks, not on the cheekbone, it makes your cheeks look fuller.

Love this look on you!! That Florasis palette is SO beautiful:) I have it as well as a number of other items from them- including some other palettes and they make such gorgeous makeup!! Their ultra fine eyebrow pencil (the finest point tip they make) is the best eyebrow pencil I’ve ever used, hands down. And their red lipsticks in the porcelain tubes are to die for!!

It depends on face shape. No matter how soft your makeup, you'll still look sharp. It's in your facial structure. Asians tend to have a round, not very edgy face, so that's why soft makeup looks softer. Also, you do have texture unless you're made of glass. It's just natural

And no one wants to look like a Korean girl here! Why would she? Using a specific makeup technique is not to look like someone else. She always wears fresh makeup regardless of the technique. She said she is trying some of the tips, didn’t say she is going to wear Korean makeup otherwise she would have worn contacts to have bigger eyes (which she doesn’t need), fake individual lashes (she doesn’t need one), eyelid tapes (she doesn’t need one) foundation two shades lighter than her skin tone( isn’t considered the right makeup where she is from!) and more light cute colours. She did her own makeup but with some tips.

Omg why you sound so jealous. I have to disagree!! Korean girls look the least good with their make ups because they lack interesting features and their make ups are simply too boring for their faces. Their faces lack colors. The pinks are made for cool tones and asian girls are lacking pink undertones and ironically pinks are most used in Asia. The make up on a video isn’t Korean, the eye make up and blush isn’t looking accurate tho. White girls with already interesting features look best with soft make ups but Asian women look best with interesting make ups. White women look often overdone with colorful eyeshadows and strong lips and soft colors make their features pop.
