Right on target. SP is extremely controlled. Severe childhood wounds - neglect, rejection, abandonment by one parent and gaslighting by another. He became a dismissive avoidant and selected romantic partners who are emotionally unavailable. I have a secure attachment style but have been overcompensating to keep connected with him.
