This is such horseshit. By the 12th round, the official punches for the fight had Usyk ahead by 5, but Fury landed more in the 12th than Usyk did and dominated the round, especially the last minute. It was razor fucking close. Usyk had like 8% more accuracy because he threw less and landed an equal amount, but the actual shots landed were neck and neck.

@@matta1475 Different styles... AJ is faster on his feet than Fury but less wiley in clinches and poorer defence when he is caught out of step. He lost soundly but he was tried to outbox an 11/10 boxer. Fury was much easier for Usyk to hit but he's a big lump with lots of resilience and uses his weight as much as he can. Looking forward to the rematch as I still think it could go either way...but just more likely to be an Usyk win based on what we saw in the first. If Usyk wants a more definitive win he's going to have avoid his almost trademark poorer middle rounds and step on the gas sooner.

Uysk has his number and is just a better all round fighter, nothing wrong with that, he said he doesn’t need to change tactics etc, but I believe Uysk can go up a few more levels. Uysk is a generational talent and there’s only a few in HISTORY of all the Heavyweights that could beat him. And when I mean a few definitely less than 5 of them for sure. Than Usyk kissed the cross before Round 8 began and he felt a so much power and confidence and then on, he was sure he would win the fight. Off of clean, hard punches (Usyk wins this), defense (Usyk wins this), ring generalship (Usyk controlled the ring the entire night, absolutely had Tyson on the run), and effective aggression (again, Usyk was the more aggressive fighter and he was landing so he wins this metric, too). You and the judges gave Round 12 to Fury. Why? He got out-landed by DOUBLE the amount of power punches and total punches in that round while running so much Usyk was having to chase him around the ring. Be honest. It was a makeup round for Tyson so the final result wouldn't look so bad. I'm being serious here. Usyk won that fight 116-111. 1-3, 8-12 were his. And Rounds 4 and 7 were very close and you could have given those to Usyk as well. Tyson did a good job hanging in there and being competitive. He absolutely was walloping Usyk in Rounds 5 and 6. But that's it. He lost decisively. He's the A-side fighter who runs his mouth and brings in the viewers though so they gave him rounds he didn't win to make it look close. I think they probably would have robbed Usyk if not for the knockdown. At that point, it would have been too obvious they were robbing him and there would have been an uproar so they couldn't. There's a reason it's considered the most corrupt sport in the world. All this nonsense from Fury is just him trying to save face and convince people to tune in for the rematch. He knows he got worked over. He's never in his entire career been the guy to go and look for the tough fights (unless he needs a belt), but since that last fight with Wilder he's been coasting.
