The renovation of this beautiful Church, is amazing, its been done with taste, and in keeping, with the original building, it seems very busy outside with traffic, as you expect in a town centre, and I wonder, about noise at night when people are at pubs etc, although, it did seem quiet inside during the tour. It is sad though, to see, another Church not being used for what it was intended.

How can you convert a church into a house? It will always look and feel like a church… The building is exceptional but… it’s doesn’t look like a house! More likely a library or whatever. Great building but… it won’t feel like a house!

I think it’s sad to see beautiful & sacred community buildings that should be a place of communal refuge, spirituality and contemplation become misused, abandoned & eventually zoned residential through lack of community involvement or care. It would be great if this was a public hall, museum, library or community building at least but it’s very good too see it restored and cared for all the same. Would be such a beautiful space for musicians or choirs etc too or retreat centres.

I hate seeing these churches hacked up. This is one of the nicest, apart from the naff coloured lights and the problem of living with so many rooms without windows - and the bar is naff. I'd have bookvases lining the walls, for my personal intetests. Why would you want such a huge space dedicated just to drinking? I don't know that I could cope with not having the windows wide open, let alone not existing, in my bedroom. Same with the kitchen. And the lightbulb changes 20' in the air... Nice to visit - but lovely to go home...

I live 5 to 8 months in England and the rest of the year with my children and grandchildren in the U.S. I absolutely love this renovation and I’m amazed at the speed of the renovation! My late husband and I spent almost a decade renovating our 1880’s Victorian house! (We did all of the work ourselves!) Trinity House is beyond beautiful... 😳 OMG! Nice, this place would be fit for King Arthur ⚔️ If i buy this🤨, i was just inspired by the floating glowing globe they have in Cambridgeshire Cathedral, 🔮I'm going to make my own version with an extra dimension or two, 🌍 giving it an animated layer to the clouds and the weather, and place it above the center of the hexagon in the great room, and maybe add a rotating moon, then i imagine watching at sunrise or sunset, with all the lights out, (there would also be a shadow on the inside, to reflect the part of the planet facing away from the sun, but during daylight hours that shadow could be turned off, so the whole planet glows, like in Cambridgeshire Cathedral) and you literally have the animated trinity of the earth, moon, and the sun, which uses the real light of the sun as the light source.🤯 Maybe you even have the rotation set on a small computer interface like an Arduino, which rotates the moon to the exact rotation time for the real moon and where it is in real life, you could probably also program it to change rotation speeds faster as well.. and then go back to the real world cycle when you were done fiddling with time.. It would also be good to have a lamp for the Sun's light source, so you could also just fo this in the dark or very low lighting. Oh and maybe an outermost ring divided in twelve parts, marking the zodiac signs.. i realize I'm basically describing a planetarium. 🔮🌍🌌But i would be my own, or whoever ends up purchasing this place might do something similar and it would be their own.. 🧙♂️time will tell.🕰️ 🗝️Plus, anyone could also make a similar smaller version for an average bedroom or room.. this place just seems like it's the best place to make the first.. Just a thought.💡

Pretty wild, little bit sacrilege. Quite the exterior presence :) I think I would have avoided the old furniture and brown wood. Kept it modern throughout, particularly the bedrooms. The arches can work with fairly modern architecture. I wonder if modern light oak flooring would work better than the dark gloss tile. If it burned, I'm assuming all the brown wood work is newly installed so they could have gone modern. I get going churchlike but I'm guessing modern/romantic would have worked better as a residence. Avoid the beige color. Maybe a huge dining table centrally in the hall. Certainly room for a big wedding and the priest can feel right at home :) with the right interior design, it just might work.

I'm a very promiscuous man, who's never stopped at having sex with women in any venue, but even I have my red-lines; even I can't desecrate a house of God with sex and partying, or even turn a house of God into a home. I love the other properties, but this simply isn't my cup of tea.
