Well, things have changed, since Covid, it has nothing do with Regular Medicare, my doctor's office that have been going to for 9 years, has always approved anything for me I ask. But since Sept. of 2023, I was informed that no one can call his office themselves anymore, the Hospital that own my doctors office has a 3rd Party inside of the Hospital you have to call if need an appt besides your regular appt that has been schelduled. You call them, tell them the problem and they call your doctors office and then your doctors office calls you back. I don't like it and the same thing if you need a referal to see a specialist, you go through another 3rd Party for that, also. Then they send you a letter telling what specialist to call that has been approved.

These are horrifying stories and as a 30 + year registered nurse I can say that most doctors really wanted to help people in the past, but today they go into medicine for the money. And just because they're smart and they can get through medical school doesn't mean that they are a talented doctor. It's very sad that the medical profession is now being seen as a way to become a millionaire or multi-millionaire and not to help people with their illnesses. Can I blame ALL insurance companies for that because they changed the entire landscape of how Medical Care was paid for

While watching this video, you brought up a subject close to me and my surgeries. My doctor, orthopedic, spinal neurosurgeon, had to fight from the operating room and yell at the insurance company and tell them if they didn’t pay for the second half of the operation they would pay to take care of me for the rest of my life because I had all the dishes removed the day before, and he was going to put the pins and screws in that day. I am blessed to have had a surgeon like that. He did 6-10 hour surgery on my back and I can still walk.

These insurance companies have hit a gold mine with the number of older people today who have been led to the coffin by the medical cabal. I used to trust my dr. But not anymore. The last 3 years have taught us a lot about how they can’t wait to dispose of us. After of course they have made the maximum $$ on our sickness. It steams me that I have to pay 1/4 of my SS just to have access to nothing. That doesn’t count the 1/3 that I pay for what I actually need to stay healthy that they won’t cover. I’m blessed that there is two of us who so far have been able to keep up. But it scares me because my husband has had cancer for 8 years that so far hasn’t progressed beyond the initial stage 4. Not thanks to any dr or treatment but to our own research and perseverance to overcome it. Especially when I KNOW there are off program treatments that could cure it that we can’t afford.

They were REQUIRED to allow me to continue to use my current plan the as my supplemental. Thank GOD, you hade me ask the right questions…. I am under 65. You were clear that the rules were different. There is no doubt, when I reach 65 in 2 years. You are the only one that I will be consulting….. So MUCH mis information out here! Keep doing what you are doing. Unbelievable! I spent over 30+ years in Critical Nursing, L& D, NICU, and Pediatric Trauma. I have watched the US medical care pendulum swing from absolutely one of the BEST in the world, to being absolutely horrible in just a few short years. Why? The old adage holds true: $$$ is the root of all evil. The best in the world right now is Singapore, followed by France in a dead even race in ratings. Next is the UK's NHS. All of these systems are provided "free" ( but your taxes as a citizen cover the costs, as we know Nothing in life is free). The US falls far behind on the list of many "3rd world civilizations". I thank God for your channel and your blessing to all of us who have been forced by our government to go onto Medicare at all, let alone the US Gov. lying to us, making many Seniors live in destitution. I believe GREED is at the root of the decline in our healthcare because of insurance companies' CONTROL, and the Government allowing MILLIONS of ILLEGAL ALIENS to come over the border, give them FULL medical coverage, Free Food Stamps, Free Credit cards, Free Cell phones, Free housing with complete disregard for the US Constitution and it's real standing as " the LAW of the Land". It states that a person must be a FULL US CITIZEN to receive this aid. It also states that they must be a Citizen to be able to legally VOTE. The Gov. has completely disregarded this law. No one has sued the Gov. on grounds of a violation of the Constitution. We cannot keep hospitals and doctors ' care at a high level when they are losing so much $$ to people who do not pay into the system in any way. It floods the hospitals and people who worked their whole life are having to be denied care because it is given to people that are not citizens and do not pay for it. It is supply & demand. Hospitals cannot foot the loss of supplies, pay the overhead, and keep up giving free care to those who don't pay for it. It will implode if allowed to continue. Big Insurance, Big Pharma, and control of the Drs. are killing millions and the Government is in on it. Just look at Dr.Fouchi and the pandemic....all created in a lab without our knowledge, and they make Trillons $$. Thank you Christopher for standing up for us. May God help us all and Bless you and your company for standing strong.

When you pay next to nothing for something, expect to get next to nothing in return. I checked on Medicare Advantage plans in my area, Plans ranged from $0-$68 monthly premiums, I should automatically not expect too much. Insurance is not going to want to pay out and Doctors are not going to want to spend too much of their energy on you. Now I know why I am seeing signs posted in Doctors Offices stating they no longer accept Medicare Advantage Plans.
@kaygrace525011 ай бұрын
I paid for Medicare out of my weekly check for 30 years, so don't say I didn't pay nothing to get Medicare, I don't qualify for Medicad, I get to much SS, so I took the Medicare Advantage but I did qualify to get Medicad tp pay the monthly payment and State Program to get my drug coverage. I get 24 dollars per month through Senior Snap Program for Food, thats all get as for as help. I didn't know that Medicare Advantage wasn't Medicare at all anymore, I haven't had any problems getting anyhting approved, I went for a calcium score test and was told by my heart doctor that a 4 cm tumor showed up in my left breast, that was on a Thursday, call my doctor on Friday morning, he told me to be there Monday morning at 9 am, He got on the phone and pulled some strings and I had a appt with the Breast cancer center in 2 weeks, Went and they did all the test and then I seen a Cancer doctor who told me the MRI Scan was wrong and there was no tumor no cancer. SO I haven't had any issues but I just found out that everything has changed for 2024, so I will call my Insurance and start asking questions and see. I will change as soon as I can if need to. If I have no Medicare now, its not my fault, they didn't tell me. This should be Illegal if true.

I am 67 on the Advantage program and went to the local ER after a dog bit my hand and ripped a big open wound. I waited 4.5 hrs in pain with a towel wrapped around my hand in the large waiting room. Finally they wanted me to run my hand under a faucet to clean the wound. They finally came in to I guess decide to how they were to close it. ONLY 2 stitches to close it wrapped up with gauze. I ask the Dr. if they would use the butterfly strips with strings to close it and leave a minimal scar. Nah. You wouldnt believe what another male Dr said. "That's something the hospital can't afford." That statement just blew my mind. I had just listened to your podcast on u-tube about problems about lack of care to medicare advantage patients. I did give back a review of the care I received but let them know just how many hours I sat in pain. And the discrepancy of use of bandages, sutures, butterfly bandage to keep wound closed for health concerns.

Chris have you heard about the medicare provider sends claim to medicare and medicare declines needing the claim to be appropriately sent in. Medicare gives the provider 12 months to clean up claim. In the meantime the client gets a bill for MORE than medicare would have paid and tell the clients if they dont pay the bill in 30 days it will go to collections. This is so wrong. The client has no idea unless they have a caring agent that medicare would have paid this claim if it had been done appropriately.

Medicare Advantage Plans have shown food ads to struggling families to entice them in. Literally a carrot approach to food insecure people. Then they bite the bait because food looks great, but little do folks know what awaits them. When people beg you to buy something, and cram it down your throat, better believe they are going to screw over them. They lie, con, entice, and hammer it home hourly.

Do you think also though that the large hospitals overcharge people and Medicare for their services. They are owned by all kinds of investor groups and are out for the profit also , these hospitals bring in all kinds of outside people to do tests etc. and charge huge prices for their services, in the past these services were provided by the hospital staff not outside companies.
