At 17:25, I would have frozen the on-sale lamp. It would help get to 10 mana faster and then completely solve the luck regen issue (plus a few thorns). Could be wrong though, I admit to being irrationally obsessed with buying anything on-sale lol

@@AnEnemyAnemone1 He has good approaches in over 50% of his games so he is above average still.. It's just his micromanagement and tunnel vision that keeps him from climbing those 50-80 points higher :) small things like not selling space last round to keep the gem :D developing the habit of checking space selling on last rounds can sometimes save u some trophies in close combats just like taking the extra 10 seconds to think which gem to sell etc.

Right now do Bloodthorne with the Burning banner on Pyro with heart containers and cap of discomfort. ;) It's one of my favorite as it might not kill fast, but if you have a shield for survivability u can get heat with chilli peppers and out heal fatigue fast. and bloodthorne scales super fast eating the regen from banner.

Easy way to counter bow build with lucky clover or even all Excalibur builds are triple cap of discomfort build !!! ... lol... with lucky pigs facing them... 74 % chance no buff gains... they will never get buff boosts... and their damage will be garbage... Excaliber also beats it... so does mana bomb build... if those are boring try... Mrs. Struggles build... works great against it as well...

Not even Steel Goob that's the issue though, it's just that they have so much luck from Mega Clover that Fortuna's Grace always crits with a single acorn collar. There's a ton of different lamp builds with Mega Clover that go hard and you don't even need Steel Goob for most of them.

@@AnEnemyAnemone1 Well, that's true, but it's the stupidly high luck that allows it to even get the double activations every attack to begin with. Seems like it's a problem with Mega Clover + Fortuna's Grace to me more so than the Steel Goobert since the goob really isn't broken by itself in other builds.

@@xn85d2 fortunas without steel goobert isn’t nearly as much of an issue as fortunas with steel goobert. So the obvious solution is a nerf that targets the synergy without impacting either item on their own very much. Changing the fortunas star effect to be 2x damage instead of hitting twice would accomplish exactly that.

@@AnEnemyAnemone1 Yes, that sounds like a good idea to me. Not sure it'll happen though, since that means adding a new mechanic of temporarily dealing 2x damage that isn't a crit or a double-hit.

@@kingzulu3176 first 4 seconds, by the time 4 seconds is up at least you've landed some hits and scaled your weapon, think you undervalue how much 4 seconds at the start of combat is worth. if you miss all your shots you get 0 chance to scale. Edit: plus, the more slotted runes, the more luck from shaman mask, which helps early against blind as well, especially if mask is not sped up and doesn't have the chance to eat all the luck

Shaman mask is hit or miss. shoulda gone brass knuck. I beat Megaclover ranger but she has 1 moon shield, 1 moon armor, heroic pot instead of flute and djin. Latest vid on anvil chainwhip build.

two elephants in armor would have been 80% debuff resistence against that dark sabre build, no? Last build is very strong. I think you beat it with antibuff things (miss strugles, dark cap,..) and non weapon damage (vamp goob, mana thirst, sun shield,..). Also 2x or 3x ranged shields fatigue builds should work..

Two or more Caps of Discomfort + Chain Whip beat double Fortuna's Grace rangers, sprinkle in some purple gems for good measure. I suspect Stone Caps might be helpful as well, just need to prevent them for lamping.

Nice vid!! I've been experimenting with runes falcon blade lamp, using badger to speed up falcon and stone gloves for activating lamp, cheese goob for sutain and buffs and wolper for samina. It's pretty highrolley but its a lot of fun

I did have to try. It's not the most consistent build, because you have to get the hungry blade and thorn whip and gem box with several blueberries all together before you lose too many fights, but when it works it's strong, at least at my rank of upper platinum. I beat the double moonshield double grace but lost final fight to double obsidian dragon -- not enough blueberries for the mask to scale healing. I like the build because it's not meta, but achievable if you play a few matches with it.
