Pokémon in the FIRST GENERATION: Voltorb (Poké Ball with eyes), Grimer (sentient sludge), Magikarp (literally just a fish), Caterpie (That's just a swallowtail caterpillar), Pidgey (generic bird), Ekans (It's so just-a-snake that its name is just snake backwards), Tauros (It's just a three-tailed bull. Adding two tails makes a regular ahh animal a Pokémon, guys!), Geodude (rock with a face) Pokémon didn't "run out of ideas" as so many Genwunners like to insist. _Every_ generation has "out of ideas" designs, and why wouldn't they? I'd like to see you make 100 fantasy creature designs and have _every single one_ of them be bangers. The same generation that gave us ice cream and garbage gave us Hydreigon. I won't be hearing any more slander. No, when Pokémon _really_ jumped the shark is the second they decided to cheap out and stop putting every Pokémon in every game. There's just no excuse. It's the highest-grossing media franchise in the world, you'd think they could be bothered to put in the time and resources needed.

The problem with this argument is something people don't take into account It was the first Gen these were the originals Grimmer and Muk are fine and decent but when gen 5 and most of it's mons come out being the same thing as Gen 1 the ideas feel unoriginal and the designs don't have the same strength of being charming original designs

Nothing at first but after you buy it, there's a chance for a black matter voucher to appear in the shop, which adds another joker space. I think you have to unlock the black matter by buying the blank voucher 10 times collectively while playing
