Honestly, considering how eloquent and evil speech-giving Belos has been throughout the show, I really expected him to say something here, or to just ….. say more in general during the finale. Like a batshit rant about how the witches murdered Caleb and ruined his life (maybe even blaming them for how much Ggravesfield has changed, they must have corrupted the human realm too!) and deserve to all burn. Nah he just tries to shoot a child in the back without a second thought. ….. which is fitting in its own right, to be fair.

@@Naps_lot You know how Jiminy Cricket tried to get Jack Horner to turn good and see that all he needed was to find compassion? This scene reminded me of them because of how the Collecter thought Belos was a misunderstood person. Also because Jiminy called Jack an irredeemable monster before being flicked away when he saw most of the Baker's Dozen die reminds me of how the Collecter called Belos a liar before being thrown away as he planned to leave all the witches for dead. Ironically, both Belos and Jack claimed to have their lives ruined just because of powerful beings and their lives would've been better if they accepted it.
