I remember going through a similar thing. My own dad used to beat me up just because I went to visit my mum when I was 4 years old. Fast forward he left me to be with another woman, despite having married again and got kids. He kicked me out since I was not cool with it after all I didn't want my step-siblings to go through what I went through. It's been almost 3 years now and I've never looked back since. I talked to my own dad and asked him for forgiveness and forgave him too, but I had to let go of him completely. I wish him all the best and I pray the kids and Rose will be well.
