Oh my OA I know a lot of these People are blaming Hannah, John Paul and Nancy and mostly John Paul but the main Person who should be blamed for all of this is Declan he’s the one who got Carter into this in the first place when he was a Teenager. I’m not excusing what he did to Hannah, John Paul, Lucas, Maxine and even Ro it was indeed all wrong and disrespectful of what he did and yes kidnapping a 16 Year old is even worse but he was still a victim of this from when he was a Teenager now that he’s been arrested and put behind bars I’m sure there’s a possibility he can get help and if Declan even tries to get him reconnected I hope he’ll turn him down. It was so sweet seeing Diane finally calling Ro her Son and respecting his pronouns finally I’m hoping this will continue on with the respect and pronoun supporting with them but I have no doubts he’s gonna get bullied for this though and if he does I hope Diane will stick up for him. 😢

This would have all been avoided if Gareth hadn't blackmailed Carter in January. I think it's weird Gareth just disappeared, and now Declan is the big bad. Nancy isn't to blame because she didn't know. John Paul and Hannah though should have raised concerns at the very least I feel because then something would've been on record. Of course, this is Hollyoaks after all and nothing is done like it would be in real life because that's not dramatic enough. They have covered this well in exploring grooming and not just sexual expoitation grooming but grooming in other ways. I don't think conversion therapy has been covered in a soap before
